Beautiful place. My nephew had a lovely outdoor wedding and the scenery my goodness I enjoyed the lovely tall trees. The separate areas for each part of the wedding flowed so smoothly. I had a beautiful experience sharing his special day with him and his new bride, family and friends.

We’ve had two graduation parties at Cheers (Lakeside). Both parties were fabulous! The staff always helpful and kind! The venue is so beautiful!! Penny was so helpful with all the stressful details!! We will absolutely have more events at Cheers!!

We simply could not have had a better experience for my son’s graduation party. Every detail was meticulously planned and as a result the party was a huge success. They were open to our requests, thoughts, and ideas and the advice they gave on food was spot on. They do this sort of thing all the time so they were able to guide us on what items are really popular and how much we need for the number of guests we thought we would have attending. No food was waisted and our party guests had plenty to eat. From center pieces to dance floor everything was perfect! Now, for the staff. What a great group of people. The young employees were professional, kind, and swift with clearing tables, our guests raved about how delicious the food was and the kitchen staff kept the buffets well stocked. The owners and management were so helpful and accommodating.
I would give 6 stars if I could and will absolutely consider cheers in the future for any big party or even just the catering!

While the venue is beautiful we had some issues on the day of our event. For starters, the room had a leak so we couldn’t do buffet style food it was plated instead. Food was not at all what we expected. We went to the tasting they offered and the food was good but the day of it was not great. Next, the bartender had a problem serving alcohol to our guests before and during the event. Had to have a 45 minute conversation with the owners so we could get the bartender situation taken care of. The coordinators were not helpful the day of helping show guests where to put gifts and where to sign our guest book. We had pictures we wanted displayed and they were not able to help us get that done. Plus, we had 20 guests not show up and we did not get any extra food sent home with us. We had at least 20 extra favors laying on the tables that ended up “missing” by the end of the night.

The venue is so beautiful and well maintained! Lots of options for different styles of weddings as it's a large place on some substantial acreage. Our coordinator was very nice. As the wedding day approached she did seem a little scattered, but she did say she had a lot of other weddings on her plate. She still did a wonderful job keeping things on schedule and managing the staff during my friends wedding. The only negative feedback I would share is that they only allow you to arrive two hours before your event. That's not a lot of time to get a bride into her dress, get the bridal party ready and get the mother's of the bride and groom ready. We did do hair ahead of time but it was still very rushed. We also did some pre ceremony photos and we didn't get half the pictures we wanted to because there just wasn't time. The wedding was on a Sunday afternoon and there were no other weddings taking place there. I'm not sure why we couldn't have arrived a little earlier, even if we could only get into the bridal suite to get ready and not the venue space. The food was delicious and the staff was very polite. I think any bride would be happy having a wedding here, I just recommend pushing them to give you more time to get ready.
