We had three generations get our hair done at the same time and the cuts and styles all came out fabulous! Kelsey did a great job with Grandma’s bob! Danielle made my decision to get long layers perfect for me. And Javon’s cut on Meghan was so amazing we all were speechless! Thank you all so much for making our girls day so special!

Thoroughly enjoy this place and the values behind them!! I recommend to anyone looking for a warm, eco-friendly, safe space for all to get your services done. I love the reiki services that are offered as well! The pay by the hour structure rather than gratuity is super neat too and I'm a big fan of how it directly supports the stylists hard work and talent. Kalie was phenomenal & has a new regular now :)

I had my hair cut by Danielle and it was an incredible experience and one of the best cuts I've ever had! I can't recommend her enough! She knew exactly what I was looking for and she even showed me some good ideas for caring for it that make it feel so much healthier! Def found my new spot.

I had a great experience at Willow Room. The house is very inviting and cozy. My haircut with Kalie was amazing, I don't think anyone has ever been as kind to my hair as her, and she is very knowledgeable about caring for hair especially curly hair. I'm definitely coming back for hair and maybe the Sunday Tea sessions :)

I just visited Willow Room for the first time and the atmosphere was very inviting and cozy! Evan was very nice and friendly! She was very easy to talk to the whole she was waxing my eyebrows! For those who come here for their ethos, I urge you to examine their practices more carefully. The message this salon and specifically, owner Casey Lewis, dissipates via social media is in direct conflict with salon policies and actions. How can you claim an hourly charged, tip-less salon, solves racial disparity when individuals with textured hair inherently takes longer to cut? They are charging more, sometimes twice as much, for having textured hair. How can you be a trauma informed environment and yet, advertise your salon with pictures of yourself with barbed wire and razors held up to wrists? How can you claim inclusiveness to all people but have no mechanism for elderly and disabled to circumnavigate using stairs to have their hair washed? The list is never ending when you really sit and observe. This salon actively contributes to the problem they claim to solve. I fear ownership has advertised what is really entitlement as self power. Seems to me, as a shock to no one, end goal is money and not ethos. Do better and customers, please choose better.

I had a great experience at Willow Room. I was a new client and received a Reiki 2-hour haircut. Danielle was super friendly and worked with me to figure out what I wanted; everyone else who works there seems friendly as well! Really wanted to love this place, and even tried convincing myself I did after my haircut to justify the fact that I spent $300.. But I can't lie, I absolutely hate my hair. She knew I had curly hair, then thinned it out a lot, and now my curls are not the same as they were before. Also, there's so much breakage that's super visible from so much thinning. I then spent more money afterwards on products she recommended that left my hair dry and frizzy. The color is also almost the same as when I went there, so I don't understand how the price was so high. She was so sweet and wonderful, I absolutely hate that I'm leaving a bad review, but this was the most disappointed I've ever been in a cut, especially after the money I spent. Too scared to try this place again

Kalie did my wedding hair and they did a great job!! I asked for a simple, braided bun, and Kalie delivered! They also did my sister's and sister-in-law's hair, which they also loved! Kalie was easy to work with and listened to what we wanted! Thank you Kalie!

I've been coming here for about two years, now. It's hands down the best salon I've ever gone to. It's super queer friendly, is a unique space that feels welcoming, has a really relaxed vibe, and it seems like the stylists are treated well by management and genuinely want to be there.I've mostly booked with Kalie, but had Javon today. I'm super protective of my hair and it's been so rare in the past for me to find someone I trust with it. Both Kalie and Javon are the rare type that I'm willing to trust to do whatever they think is best or will work well. I always leave feeling beautiful and it feels more like time with a friend than a chore. Both are very kind, engaging, and patient - I've accidentally gone over my time with each of them, I'm sorry, I promise to book a longer appointment next time!!Services: Shampoo & conditioning
