Val was incredibly kind and gentle with my hair. Her expertise is truly impressive. I will definitely be returning to her! This salon has always been a nice place to visit. It’s also nice to be in a place where the owner is present and they address you by name!
Hair type: I suffer from Alopecia Areata and avoid getting my hair done in salons often because of the anxiety it brings me. Val made me feel comfortable.

So happy natural nail services are in Lakewood at Tease now! My previous nail tech, Brianne recently joined the Tease team to do nails and I just had my first appointment there.
The salon has so much character and is very warm and welcoming. They offer complimentary water, coffee, tea, and WINE!!! I love when salons do that!
I will only go to natural nail salons (meaning regular polish, gel polish or gel x extensions- no acrylic or dip). No drills so your nails don't get destroyed over time.
Can't wait to keep coming back here!

As soon as I stepped into the salon, I immediately felt warm and welcome. They offer complimentary beverages, plentiful options, and creative technicians/stylists. Each employee was wonderful. The 2 that stood out to me was the manager and my nail tech, Mario. Mario not only welcomed me so kindly and immediately offered a drink, but he took care of me like I was family. He has clean cut work, and is transparent about options and designs. If you REALLY want to get nails, see Mario. Tell him Cristina sent you ?

I really never leave negative reviews, but I was so mortified at this experience. I get my roots bleached, I’ve been a bleach out for over 7 years. I have never had this much damage from a bleach treatment.My hair is very fine and already a light blonde. Before sitting down I informed the stylist that my hair lifts very quickly -she leaves the bleach on my head for almost 25 minutes not including the time it took for application. I had to get up and walk to the back of the salon to ask her to rinse me out. She was sitting there the whole time glued to her phone.When it came time for toner, I hear her mixing it at the back saying, “Ugh! I just can’t get it right!”I was scheduled for a root touch up and a cut, but at this point had decided I didn’t want this woman anywhere near me with scissors so I just asked for a slight bang trim. Front bangs with a slight taper at the edges. She cut it so one eyebrow was showing and the other was still hidden under the lopsided arc and said, How’s that looking? I said great, thanked her, then promptly went home and cut my own bangs.Services: Bang trim

Got in with Brett for a haircut a few weeks ago, and she was fantastic! I felt immediately comfortable, and she was both fun and chatty! She did a lovely job on my hair, gave me tips on products both within and outside the shop, and it was a great experience as a whole! I'll definitely be going back!

I had a haircut with Molly C. This was my first time at this salon. I don't know if she's a new hairdresser but this is the worst haircut experience I've ever had. I got a trim and it cost $60 which was more than the website advertised. She kept looking at her phone while cutting my hair and her scissors kept touching my ear. Her brush would touch my ear too and it was very uncomfortable. At the end of the session, my hair was uneven. Very unprofessional service.

I went here a few weeks ago and had Mallory do my hair. I was happy when I left with the cut and color. I'm still incredibly happy with my cut however I'm incredibly unhappy about my coloring. 4 days after leaving I washed my hair and my hair turned VERY yellow/gold--exactly what I said I didn't want. I messaged her on a Monday--she responded the next day and apologized and told me "sometimes with the lightning it ends up being a bit yellow" (that's never happened to me). Requested I give it a few more washes and another week and she would then tone it. (Toning would darken--not lighten). She said she looked over my photos and said when I left the salon she thought she did what I wanted--she did however it washed out. I messaged her to let her know that I went some place else. Where I was informed that she did not leave it on my hair long enough and it was not blended well at all. I had paid $360 (with tip, to Mallory). She not only didn't offer to refund ANY of my money, she also didn't even apologize that I had went someplace else. I would never go back to her based on the lack of response and refund. Terrible.
