INCOMPITENT AND MESSED UP MY PRESCRIPTIONS WITH MY INSURANCE.

The staff here can be kind but they repeatedly break promises. I had to go up there four times for a prescription to be transferred, one that was important health wise. Management needs to have a talk with staff about following through and keeping your word. Slow down and make sure you listen to people and help them. This is medication. I am thinking about finding a new location with better ratings! You guys need to do better (update, left to go to discount drug mart down the road)

This pharmacy routinely takes 8+ hours to fill one prescription. The medicine I should have taken this morning will once again not be ready for pick up until 8pm. I highly suggest going elsewhere for your pharmacy needs.

This is the worst pharmacy in Cleveland. Prescriptions are never ready when promised, even when they do have your medication in stock, which is rare. They simply don’t care about their customers/patients.
Take your business elsewhere-your health and well-being will be far better off.

Been with this cvs for over 10yrs. Get all my prescriptions sent here because it's open 24hrs. I called in 2 days ago for pharmacy to pill my prescription, they needed to contact doctor. Called the next day, and they still haven't contacted doctor. This is a prescription I had for years and this cvs usually will contact doctor and have it filled the same day within a few hours. There staff over the past few years customer service has fell off drastically. There hiring more younger people to help in pharmacy that have horrible customer service skills. I made a executive decision and contacted my doctor and had my prescription transferred to another cvs. They had my prescription ready within a few hours. They had to contact my doctor also, so why did they fill prescription so fast ? 🤔 Well I can take an educated guess. They don't have a bunch of kids working in there pharmacy. Mostly adults 40ys old and above ! Sorry if your under 40yrs old and reading this don't take it personally. Your generation is horrible at customer service and your work ethics stink 🦨

I was sick and needed a few items late night. I had to come to the CVS because it was the closest one to my house that was open at 1:30 in the morning. I tried using the self check out and that didn't work out it kept not going through. So the guy told me to come over. He kept stopping helping the guy who he was helping to have his own personal conversation with a friend. After he finally got this Plan B for the kid that was waiting ( casually vaping in the store ) He finally was checking me out. I said hi to him three or four times. But he was too busy having the damn conversation with his friend even acknowledge me. My bill was $22.75. Tell me how I didn't get one sent back? Like like seriously? How is that at all customer service service.

CVS can't fill basic prescriptions. Had to call their Specialty Pharmacy involving multiple steps and phone calls. CVS can't do it themselves even though it's an internal system.
Plus, CVS corporate made a back room deal with my insurance to get sole rights to fill prescriptions. Out local neighborhood Rite Aid closed shortly after, leaving an pharmacy desert full of low income households and seniors.

Some of the people are racist like their was this one Karen who thought I was stealing something and kicked me out just based off assumption some are pretty chill but there are even some black girls who acts like a karen in there like this one light skinned women follows me and I don't see her do that to other people see also gives me a mean look whenever she's working there and I come there I think she's friends with the Karen that kicked me out they seem really friendly towards each other.

I had been in this CVS over the years to grab a few items as it’s on my way home when I take the Shoreway, but had never had prescriptions filled here. I liked how the store was bright, seemed well organized, and a huge selection of items so I thought all the 1-star reviews and complaints about this pharmacy online were exaggerated. They are not. I decided that due to the sometimes on the way home convenience I would start filling my prescriptions here, which was a huge lapse in judgement on my part.
Went to my doctor and had him refill my two migraine medications. Anyone who suffers from migraines knows how debilitating and brutal they can be so it’s critical I get these filled timely when needed. Well, day after day went by and nothing - I would check the app and it would say that they were in process of filling it, etc. I started to get a migraine one day and checked the app again, and I realized 10 days went by and still no updates. I tried calling and calling, and no one ever answered - and I mean never. All the reviews that state this are absolutely true.
I started to panic and I called the CVS at the Target in Fairview and someone actually answered - I explained the issue and that I wanted to move my prescription to the Fairview pharmacy, and they were incredibly helpful. It turns out that since the prescription at the CVS on W 117th was still showing “in process” my insurance was rejecting the Fairview CVS trying the fill it. They called me to explain this, and also that they would call my insurance company to explain the issue. And the partner at the CVS in Fairview called me back again the next day to indicate they had resolved the issue with my insurance company and were working on getting this filled.
I went in later to try to pick up the prescription, and it wasn’t ready, but the pharmacist took the time to explain that they had checked on the issue and it was a delay with the manufacturer but that they would let me know as soon as it was filled. 2 days later, I had my prescription filled.
I cannot say enough good things about the CVS at the Target in Fairview - they were kind, responsive, proactive, and they actually cared about me as a patient. In turn, I cannot say enough bad things about the pharmacy at the CVS on W 117th - they honestly don’t give a s*** and it is clear in their non-actions and lack of any attentiveness. Run, do not walk away from this pharmacy, and if you are close to Fairview, check out the CVS there in the Target and the wonderful people that work there. It’s obvious any time I’m there now they are busy but they still take the time to work hard for their patients.
I plan to add a positive review with this story to the reviews about the CVS in Fairview.

Don’t count on this place if you’re diabetic and need life altering medication
