I had a negative experience in August 2023 in this store. The owners completely ignored me over and over even when I was checking out. It was soooo uncomfortable.I finally found the water and the cooler wasn’t even cold. The windows were dirty and there was a layer of dust on the dry goods.I don’t ask for much but when I can’t get an answer and I am treated like a ghost it’s worth mentioning.These people make hundreds of thousands of dollars running the ONLY convenient store in walking distance of Lakeside.Please act more professional and clean your store.

“If Ray Doesn’t Have It, You Don’t Need It”… And if he doesn’t have it on his shelves, he’ll go in the back loan you his own… This is a family owned, niche Grocery Store /Convenience Store / Delicatessen, that has been in business for over half a century. They have a fresh meat selection, and make homemade soups, salads and sandwiches. And I don’t know how he does it, but his prices are very reasonable. Their hours shorten in the off season, so check before you come if the sun has set.

There is no better market because of the service you receive! I arrived just as Ray, the owner, was locking the door. He asked what I needed and I told him we were having tacos and my granddaughter, who was with me, only eats them with sour cream. Ray went back in and sold me the sour cream!!! My granddaughter will ALWAYS remember Ray’s kindness and customer service!
