“Took my car in a couple weeks ago due to heat not working then coolant overheating. Turned out to be a busted tube and all my coolant leaked out. They ran an engine test to make sure everything was good there and no valves were blown. Also a pressure test once they fixed the blown out hose and everything came back good. I have been driving it since then with no issues. So thankful to have found this auto shop, professional staff that won’t try and rip you off, they got me in super fast the next day and had my car fixed that afternoon. “They are awesome repair people and are absolutely a place I will always return to in order to get work done on the car, especially body work. I can't speak to the mechanical aspect of their shop since I've mainly gotten my vehicle's bodywork fixed. I would DEFINITELY go to them for everything, however, if they were closer to my home location in Mentor on the Lake. Their location relative to mine doesn't have any bearing on the quality of work. They came HIGHLY recommended by a few of my Uber customers and a personal friend, and I can see why! They also have connections to O'Brien leasing on Mayfield road, so if you want more vehicle options for a rental, but don't have quite the cash to spend at a place like Enterprise, that's definitely an option. If you would need a rental to cover you while the shop is working on your car, they will set up pickup or drop off right there so you don't have to worry about anything. It may be possible to do both there, but you'd need to go to O'Brien at some point in order to give them your credit card info for payment. Regardless, they are THE place to go!Oh! They also detail the inside of your car after they are done working on it and I lost a 20 in my car around Christmas, and they found it, leaving it in the cup holder. They could have easily yoink'd it, and I would have never known, but they didn't. Shows me they care and are upstanding and trustworthy people! “I had an opportunity to use Gran-Prix Auto Body located in Painesville back in 2020 to have new extended towing mirrors installed on my 2006 F-150 Truck. They did a great job then and was right on budget. Now in March 2023 I needed some corrosion repair done on my F-150 left rear wheel well fender area. The corrosion was not too bad so I wanted to have it fixed before it got any worse. They provided me with an estimate. I had already received 2 other estimates from different shops prior. After looking at reviews for all shops I made my decision to go back to Gran-Prix Auto Body again. Glad I did. When I picked up the truck it looked like it never had a corrosion issue at all. Matter of fact it looked brand new just like it came from the factory. There were no blend areas to see. A Perfect job well done. They exceeded all my expectations and then some. Again they came in on schedule and budget. I would recommend this shop to family, friends or anyone else. They know how to provide customer service and repairs at a fair price.
