Cant begin to explain the lack of care and compassion for my pain and discomfort for 3 months! My recent visit was terrible and it was a complete lack of any compassion from the med staff. Please do not think your questions, as everyone says to be your own best health advocate, will be met with anything but scorn and indignation by med staff because as I tried to ask I got the big stink eye as if I was questioning an all knowing being. I was trying to relay my frustration about my pain and not being able to understand why the medicine was not helping and was there something else and was immediately shuffled off to a doctor who will not be able to see me for another 3 weeks while Im in pain and "here lets try this new medicine it might help" in the meantime. Zero concern over the 3 months w zero follow ups on how I might be coping with my issues. I weep for the future if this is the state medical community. I am still in pain and NO respite in site and my medical person basically said here is a leather belt, bite down hard on it when it gets bad. There has to be better care somewhere but this place and ensuing experience has left me with a bill for nothing done that i will have to pay and if i question it i then get to do battle with every miscreant, kettering health financial dept for questioning the lack of services rendered. No, I leave this review with a question for anyone especially KH's admins who might read.....if you were in pain, or had a loved one in pain and you read this review.....would you go here?

Dr. Dunlap and his staff fixed my neck and lower back. I am pain free for the first time in over 20 years. I can’t say enough about Dr. Dunlap!! He truly is amazing!! Thank you Dr. Dunlap for giving my life back!!!

A friend was in here after major neck surgery her blood pressure dropped instead of finding a way to handle her pain or even talking to her they left her in the room and barely checked on her. Even turned the bed alarm off so she wouldn't set it off. They wouldn't even find an ice pack for her

My husband had a very disappointing experience with a nurse practitioner in this practice after being referred by the ER. She was dismissive and unconcerned. We have both had outstanding care from other areas of KHN in the past and would highly recommend KHN in general. This particular experience was very disappointing. We are following up with Patient Relations.

The er referred to this place suggesting I needed a mri, the young man I saw said “ they just say that to cover their butt” completely dismissing both my concerns, and the concerns of whatever radiologist was was working, that I’m sure I’ll be billed from. Asked me in a condescending tone “where did you find that insurance”? I would not recommend this place if you’re are trying to find a solution.

Have been waiting 6 weeks for mri appt and nobody will return my calls. 6 went there, 6 emails 5 phone calls , NO REPLy. UPDATE !!!!!!!!!!FINALY GOT REPLY doctor finaly got my text from office personal. , doctor was unaware of my texts , NOW I am getting an operation, and everything is going great I now feel that I an getting the care I need. 8/21/23 had an operation and couldn't have gone better. Dr Gringa was thu BEST doctor I have had in 36 years of operations. I will suggest that you use this doctor! The care at kettering main campus has gotten better and better. Nurses great to.

I went to Kettering Brain and spine today to have SI injections in my back. I was scared but Dr Daniel Verrill and his staff did an amazing job. I couldn't say anything better about that team. So if you're having second thoughts. Don't you won't regret it. If I could have gave him a hundred Stars I would have ??????????

5 months of not walking never requested MRI on my backI had to call MD to try to get to the bottom of no communication. I called 6 times in two days to set up appointment. No returns. Call MD again she even called no calls.I ask for another back dr

Dr. Neil Patel and the entire staff were wonderful.. Compassionate, courteous, and absolutely professional and skilled before, during, and after my surgery. I'd recommend to anyone needing brain or spine help. I went in using a wheel chair and came out being able to walk from having surgery to correct a degenerated disk in my lower back.

Had an amazing experience with Dr Bouz for my spinal surgery last year. Ended up seeing a nurse practitioner this week for a issue that could have risen from the issue I had surgery for based on a recent CAT scan. This new NP said my pain is in my head and to get mental health. I know I am in pain for a completely different diagnoses I got last week from my family doc. But she was more concerned about my currently treating diagnosis than my spine issues and whether they could get another surgery profit.. Do better lady. I will be seeing someone else from now on. Dr Bouz is the only reason I didn't give 1 star. No need for a canned response so save it

I was supposed to see a doctor on my first visit. Waited a month specifically to see a doctor. Sat in the exam room for 2 hours. The doctor never did have the courtesy to come in. Just a PA. They scheduled a shot in my back on 3-3-23 at Sycamore. Pain in my back doubled in intensity after the injection. Was supposed to have a followup on 4-4-23. They changed it to 4-11-23 for some reason. I called to try to get the followup moved up. They couldn’t do that and had no concern for my pain increasing! these people should not be practicing medicine. Cancelled my next appointment and will try to find a competent back doctor somewhere else.

I went in Friday for a new patient appointment. I looked at the Notes from my visit. There is a section for Musculoskeletal. I was rated 5/5 on each. No one in that office did a check of my Musculoskeletal. And this is the very reason for my one star. I waited a month for an appointment here and the “doctor” did not even look at my body/how it functions/where I have difficulty moving. No one put there hands on me. My scan may show no major damage but that is only a small portion of my spine and I did complain of issues in another part of my back. I am very disappointed.

Very unprofessional! They scheduled me an appt since I’ve been here for at least a year. I drove 40 minutes just to be told they no longer take my insurance! Do not waste your time with this joke of a business!
