I've been calling around multiple vets trying to schedule an appointment. They didn't have any availability today but at least I didn't sit on hold for 20 mins or talk to someone with zero personality

So grateful that this team was recommended to us when we moved from England. They have been nothing short of fantastic to both Boone and me (his sidekick). Cannot thank them enough, especially for the patience they show with my many questions.

We have extremely happy with ALL the staff and care that our pets have received for 20 years. I read some negative posts and just wanted to say that I have so much respect and love for Drs. Maimon, Mac, and Jimenez AND the unbelievable staff. I would not hesitate to bring my pets to HD Vet. It might be a bit more expensive than you thought it was going to be, after googling prices or your previous experiences with vets, but knowing that these top-notched vets have gone over every detail of your pets condition is worth it. I’m surprised that the people that gave a bad review were mostly complaining about THEIR interactions with specific vets, not how lovely, kind and magical the vet was with the animals. My dogs hate the building, parking lot, stairs, waiting room, exam room, back room…but as soon as Dr. Maimon walks in the room…the world is right. She is the Rex Harrison-Dr. Doolittle…the real dog whisperer. WHO PUTS DOG TREATS IN A GUMBALL DISPENSER?

The staff is fabulous! The doctor that owns the building is probably super qualified, but NO bedside manor. Rude, abrupt and direct. Initially I ignored it thinking as long as she takes good care of my fur babies...after reopened from Covid for inside visits I decided time to look elsewhere. She was even worse with her lack of manner.

We have 5 pets and have been to a few different vets over the years. So far Hills & Dales has been my least favorite for the following reasons"1. I was never allowed to communicate with the vets unless I was in the office for an appt. If I had a question or issue and called into the front desk, the receptionist would take my message, speak to the vet on my behalf, and call me back. I had multiple instances where info was lost in translation or I would have follow-up questions that I chose not to ask cause it wasn't worth the game of telephone.2. They write paper scripts for medications that have to be filled at the pharmacy instead of calling it into the pharmacy themselves. This added a bunch of extra time and mileage to our lives as we have a dog on multiple meds that we have filled at Walgreens.3. My dog is on multiple meds for anxiety. I was told she was required to have bi-annual wellness exams or they would not fill her prescriptions. They are the only vet I have encountered that required two visits to fill the prescriptions - the two other vets I have been to only required a single wellness exam per year unless they found something concerning with the results of the bloodwork.4. They were always so booked out I could never get a sick animal in to see them and would end up at a different vet. Other vets I have been to have a set number of "sick" appts reserved each day, so if you call early enough, you can get the pet in same day for no extra fee.5. I do feel as though the exams our pets received were thorough. That said, I wasn't always happy with the recommended treatment plan. E.g. I have one cat the vet diagnosed as having a chicken allergy. The first and only recommendation was to start him on prescription food that was VERY expensive. After another flare up, we took him to a sick appt at different vet where it was mentioned that food allergies often stem from the food's protein - it was recommended we change his food from chicken to some other protein (fish, duck, etc.). We switched to a fish-based food and haven't had any issues since (knock on wood, it's been over a year). While fish based food is more expensive than chicken, it is nowhere near the $60 8.5lb bag of prescription cat food the Hills & Dales vet had recommended.

If I could give infinite number of stars I would! From my first experience at Hills and Dale's, I knew I was in the right place for myself and my animals. EVERY staff member is kind, patient, understanding and helpful. The staff to above and beyond my expectations every time. The thought they put into everything, little details that I would never have thought about (certificate of bravery, tooth fairy, etc ) is such a wonderful, sweet, loving gesture. My animals are SPOILED from the time they arrive until the time they leave. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. I'll never go anywhere else!

If you want the best care for your furbaby I HIGHLY recommend Hills and Dales!! I would give infinite stars if I could! The entire staff is friendly, professional, caring, patient and always greet us with a smile. Dr. Maimon is the absolute BEST veterinarian! She always takes the time to answer all of my questions and as a first time dog owner I have a lot. I never feel rushed. My poor Nellie has had a rough year. She was diagnosed with heartworm which is now cleared and most recently she sustained a pretty bad injury to her paw. I'm happy to say that Dr. Maimon and the staff have taken amazing care of her through both of these traumatic events. I will never take my girl anywhere else! As far as price I don't have anything to compare to but for me, you get what you pay for and I get my monies worth and then some. I can't say enough about this place! My daughter and brother also take their pets there. We love them!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Make sure to scroll and read the negative reviews. Especially the responses from the owner to those negative reviews. Never been and never will be going based on the direct conduct from the owner of this business on these negative reviews.

I bring my puppy to Hills&Dales and have been more than happy with their care of my little lady both for routine and ill visits. All the staff are professional, caring, kind, and very competent. I recommend them to anyone looking for excellent vet care for their furry family members!

UPDATE: Another snarky response, folks! And also a lie...they pulled baby teeth without asking for our consent and then charged us. No, the cost wasn't the issue, it was that it was unethical. Ya'll do try to "upsell". Several other reviewers have the same exact complaints, so who is lying? Also, I have owned dogs my whole life and have never had to take a dog for an exam more than annually, and certainly never had a vet hold us hostage for heartworm medicine to force another office visit. Ya'll just want money, but you won't be getting anymore of ours! INITIAL REVIEW: We only chose this place, because it was so close to our house. We quickly realized that this is the kind of veterinary clinic that tries to squeeze as much money out of their patients as possible. First visit, they kept trying to upsell over and over, which was a turnoff. Then they pulled baby teeth during our dog's neuter procedure without asking first, and also charged us for it, which was unethical. Then, we tried to get a simple 6 month supply of more heartworm medicine, and instead of approving it, they tried to force us to pay for another exam visit, even though our dog had an exam 6 months earlier, and wasn't due for any shots for another 6 months. Adult dogs don't need to be examined more than once a year, and certainly not for something as simple (or should have been simple) like refilling heartworm medicine. We stated we wanted his records and will be finding a new vet, and they didn't care AT ALL about losing a patient. We will be going through the vet we use for our other dog (Evergreen), which may be further away, but well worth the drive! P.S. Just look at all the snarky responses from them on here, that they left to every negative review. That should tell you all you need to know.

Do not recommend. They will charge you the most they can and do services like pulling baby teeth without consent then charging you. They were not friendly when I expressed concern about the bill.

This clinic gave me a huge scare. Told me my dog had cancer and it was going to be about $2500 for surgery. Went to another vet for a second opinion. Turned out it was just a hair follicle growth that is somewhat common. Still had to have them surgically removed. This cost $500 at the other vet. That price included the anesthesia and pain meds for his recovery. I will never take my pets here again.

I made a couple of appointments that I needed to cancel at the last minute due to life events one of them being going on a vacation with my grandmother whom has Parkinson's and is 88 years old. I let them know both times that I would need to cancel the appointments. No showing is when someone doesn't show up without notification. I have taken one of my other dogs to this place as well. With that being the case, how many times do you have to take a pet or pets into be considered out of the "new client" phase? A business does have the right to do what they want (in a sense), but a customer also has the right to find something better which is what I've done. Either way, not working with your customers isn't really a good sign and if a business is unable to accommodate the lives and schedules of those who keep those businesses in business, then maybe they should look into a different line of work
