$200 a month for the 30Mbps package. They basically force you to use their garbage basic cable package to get their internet. Unless you want satellite internet, they have a monopoly in the area. When I had Spectrum at my last house, it was $65 a month for 100Mpbs. Sure, KTC is fiber, but I'd gladly take slightly higher latency back with more than three times the speed, at less than half the price. I REALLY hope another ISP moves into the area soon. KTC is robbing everyone in Kalida, but it's the only real choice.EDIT: While their pricing still is not great (Starlink will be an option very soon as an alternative), it has improved. We no longer need the cable package, and our speed is now 110 Mpbs down and 100 Mbps up. Still not the fastest for 2022, but much better, and good enough for anything you need. Our monthly bill has also dropped to around $120 a month, still not great, but better. The main reason I'm updating the review is for customer service. I work in IT, and work from home, so I NEED my internet working. I had outages right after starting a new job, and they had their team out twice in the same day, minutes after the call. I doubt Spectrum would ever be that fast. KTC is still not the best price, but speeds have improved, and they do try hard with their customer service.
