This review is a long time coming. This all started in 2019, and I have been slowly doing all of the things that Ron should have done ever since I got the truck back from him in 2021.I brought in my great grandpa's truck, a 1985 Chevy K20 Silverado, so they could finish the restoration my dad and I had started while I was away for a couple of years with my family. Over the course of the roughly 2 years that Ron had the truck, he did absolutely no work to it.-Did not install "Silverado 20" badges on front left or right fender-Body panels are not properly aligned-Did not install mirrors correctly (RH side missing a screw and quick clip, LH side missing grommet around the stem)-Did not install tailgate trim piece-Did not hang rear bumper correctly (missing a bolt)-Did not install running boards-Locks on both doors inoperable-Did not bolt in fuel filler necks to bedsides-Did not bolt down the seat correctly (missing two front bolts)-Did not install dash pad, He only jammed it into position, but did not actually mount it. (did not even attempt to trim the extra material and bolt it down. It's a soft piece of plastic, meant to be trimmed to fit. I got it done in less than an hour.)-Dash lights work intermittently at best-Fuel gauge no longer works-Tank selector switch no longer works-Horn no longer works-Rearview mirror is loose-Right taillight is spotty at best, left taillight inoperable-Steering components were loose from the pitman arm, all the way down-I found vines wrapped around cables at the top of the engine bay, so it's obvious it sat still for a very long time.-RH side marker light missing a screw-RH side window inoperable-Top marker lights not flush with rubber seals-did not install new window motors and regulators-did not remount the fresh air vent-paint had bubbles and swirls, so it was clearly never finished-charged us for a new injection pump, which is about $600 - $800, when he actually only installed a lift pump, which is about $10 - $30-every single new part that we gave him to install is missing, and the old parts are still here, despite being charged for him to install them-there are multiple original parts that the truck had when we gave it to him that it did not have when I got it backOver the course of about 2 years, my father and I paid about $11,000. It's obvious he used this money for his own vehicles, and not mine. Every single time I called to ask when it would be done, he would just tell me it would be another week, or another month. Then I would wait until that time had passed, call him again, and be told the same thing once again. Do not trust this man with your vehicle. He will steal your money, and maybe even parts from your vehicle. His excuse for doing absolutely none of the work we asked him to do was that "It's just an old farm truck." As if we paid about $11,000 to receive an old farm truck back from him.

Ron and his shop are fantastic! My 71 Benz was done right by that shop! And I will bring her back when I need to do things better! Ron does it right!

I usually do not post negative reviews but after I’ve been waiting for a simple part that I paid for 4 months ago I feel now is the time. IVE Hurd every excuse in the book for why we haven’t gotten our quarter panel yet. From shipping issues to being to busy to ship it out. I have a feeling that the part we PAID for was never even bought. We will be taking our next step of action which is making the hike down from Michigan to get this issue resolved then after that will be court. I really do not like leaving these again but it’s lie after lie with ron. Receptionist he has though is very nice.

Ron Woods is a great Mechanic and just a stand up guy. He is up front and honest with what needs done and only does what you ask him to do, but has no problem checking for other issues to let you know for the future.

Do not trust Ron. He took my 65 Mustang and $3,000 in November of 2018 for a Resto that he said would be complete in May 2019. Come May, he had very little work complete. For 5 months after that, every two weeks he looked at me eye to eye and lied about a new time line. Finally on 10/1/19 I removed the car from his shop. He said that day that he would refund my money. As of Monday 10/28 he had not done so and again looked me in the eye and said he would bring it to me on Tuesday. He lied again.... multiple other body shops have looked at the car and said that some of his work was done incorrectly or poorly and that they would need to redo the work. I am now taking him to court.

Bad customer service, turnaround time, and damage. Thinking that if you set an appointment and they specifically tell you it shouldn't take very long we would be good to go within a few hours. Didn't get the car even IN the shop until OVER 5 hours later. Hours later we were told that there were other things they had to do before, which would have been nice to know Before hand. After the initial few hours we called and Ron told us that if we wanted it back so soon he could just toss the keys in and leave it. Tone was extremely rude and was unwilling to try and see our side of the issue. After telling us we we're basically out of luck if HE didn't do the work. Noticed a big chunk missing from the edge of the rim and noticable scratches on the others after we got the car back too! Will not be going back. The girl we spoke to was Very kind even after a few choice words were said (not yelled or anything and also appologized for) but otherwise not a good trip.
