Went in this evening after having my vehicle jumped due to dead battery. The employee spent 20 minutes trying to get their battery tester to work on my vehicle, which it never did. I was told my battery was fine it has 11.6 volts. Also, its date stamp was 2018. Knowing the employee was wrong, I attempted to leave to go to another parts store in town. Well, the battery is completely dead. So, I had no choice but to buy from this establishment. I will not be returning. The quality of the staff over the last 5 years has been terrible. Not being a mechanic myself, I have more automotive knowledge than your staff.

I'll be honest there are really one two people worth there time in gold here Murray and Dakota the transgender thing there isn't worth your time when it tries to help you it's always "I can't find it" or it's always on its phone the person they fired recently though was only there one a week troy was not always the friendly person but went out of his way to make my shopping experience a throughout one at that and made sure I my parts were right the first time

Daniel that works here is about worthless. Every time I need help they don’t know where or how to find it. I call then she gets mad because I ask for someone different. We run a shop and don’t have forever to wait for parts.

This store has a trans gender women at this store that seems to get favored by other employees when SHE can’t even do her job when I asked for help

Advance Auto Parts in Johnstown has excellent customer service. Caleb took the time to show me how to put a rear turn signal light in and also installed a new battery for me. He did so with friendliness and patience. Every time I've been in there or called, they have always been friendly and given a logical solution.

I give advanced Auto parts two stars because their prices are a bit high their staff is not well knowledgeable but they are more than willing to learn and help as much as they can so I do appreciate that

Have an online order payed for and ready to pickup and im waiting 15 minutes, because the 2 employees wonder around with 2 customers. Maybe keep 1 person behind the counter if you only have 2 ppl.
