Our company had several crew members stay here for several months while building Transmission Powerlines for Honda Battery Plant. Stacey made our experience a great one. I definitely didn't mind calling this place home when I was away from home. Loved the outdoorsy feel and really enjoyed the lake view while relaxing on my days off. Way, way better than staying at a hotel. Definitely got lucky finding this campground!

Whated a place to stay for over a year, since I'm working at the Honda plant but I asked 8 different guys that have been staying around this area and they ALL told me go anywhere but stay away from walnut lake campground. I've heard horrible stories about a women and her grandkids that I don't want to even try it. So any traveler for the new Honda plant trust me go somewhere else. Just a heads up.

Came to town to work at new Honda plant & needed a place to park fifth wheel. Upon arrival knew I made a mistake coming here but its nearly the only place to camp around Honda. This place is a complete dump, look more like a motorcycle club hangout and is absolutely run like it. During tornado warning After paying $700 to stay here for 2.5 weeks the owner (tattoo prissy lady with blue buy here pay here jeep w grandkids )showed up to the campground honking her horn wanting four new guests to come outside and meet her at the office to “sign papers”while my family and I were seeking shelter and my jobsite was closed down for the entire day, harassed and got into my face cussing me out for leaving with my wife and 6 month old baby during a bad storm to seek shelter saying that we caused ruts in her driveway. We have decided to post pictures of her actually driveway so anyone who may end up in this predicament of needed a place to camp last minute, will know to leave way ahead of time before it rains or you will be trapped by a flowing 3 feet of water blocking the only exit.
This place is run by criminals and it stinks!
Don’t bring your family here!!
**forgot to add she advertises hookups are included and then upon arrival mentions another $200 for electric non refundable deposit. We have paid electric bills at campground in the past and it’s never been more than $30 a month and that was in Florida during summer in a fifth wheel?

This is the worst place ever!!! The owner freaks out if you do 1 mph over the speed limit but let's her grandson terrorize the place flying around on a golf cart or a quad. The bathrooms and shower house is dirty and only has a few lights none of which are in the showers. They let the trash pile up before the have it taken care of. They have a dead beaver in the lake your supposed to swim in.

Stay away! I waited on the owner for over four hours to sign papers. When she finally did show up she pulled up and made me wait another ten minutes while her grandkids hopped out the car holding McDonalds. It’d be different if I’d expected to wait four hours but I had to call constantly to see if she was still coming. When I heard the rate it was nothing like we discussed and she wanted to overcharge for a terrible looking area. Then when I exited the area she said she was calling the cops and proceeded to call me a criminal over the phone and said the sheriff was looking for me. She’s a complete joke of a person and obviously a scam artist. If you give this lady your money it’s being wasted on her overly expensive cars. Don’t waste your money here. Go further down the road.

All in all, this is a good campground. I recently retired and bought a camper and I'm now living here. Everyone has been very helpful giving me some tips on surviving the winter in my camper and I can't wait for the camping season to begin because life is great after retirement.

The campground is ok but I have never stayed or visited a campground that the so-called host (curly, red head) that approached me and was rude that i was driving over 5mph which i wasn't. I was out of town and had no idea who she was and why she needed to ask questions. I also figured that it was because my friend and I (girls) were visiting my cousin (guy) that was staying there for work and paying rent but thought we were trouble and had to know where we were going. After that experience, my cousin is going to stay somewhere else.

More like skid row lake campground. Where do I begin. Attempted to use the public bathroom and thought I was in Chernobyl or a nuclear apocalypse. ? Ofcourse no toilet paper or paper towels. The campground itself looked like a RV graveyard. Don't let the pictures fool you when you look online. Needless to say we left about as fast as we got there. It's too bad because the property has so much potential.

A sad state of affairs! Campground has so much potential, but in bad repair. Mostly full time campers, many of them are a mess. Owners obviously don't have any pride in their campground. Many of the people should be told to clean up or leave. I don't care how poor you are, you can at least keep what you have clean and in good repair, but owners don't set an example or require anything more.

Disgusting campground. Run down, the office is trashy and smells horrible. Trash everywhere. Campers just parked anywhere that need to be in a junk yard. Owner has a chip on her shoulder and not personable at all. . Restrooms were disgusting and water laying every where and sewer was being dug up . People’s dogs just roaming with no leashes . I would not recommend this campsite to anyone

Spur of the moment for an overnight spot. The whole park is seasonal camping, only one overnight spot. Quiet, clean, nice people.
