Find out what medications BEFORE they are administered. Talk extensively about side effects. Use tried and true methods. If I would have known before. They would not be allowed to use what what used. I hope my animal survives the medication. They did not volunteer any information before. If they would have it would not have been given. Don't allow your animals to be experimented on. Ask questions first. I trusted them and shouldn't have. Now my animal has to suffer because I did not insist on knowing.

The best veterinary clinic by far! So much compassion and they helped me help a sick stray cat that was suffering! After calling and messaging so many places with no help being available or without being on a waiting list, country doctor not only got us in pronto but they gave a generous discount! I’m forever thankful!! ? ❤️

Luckily got Annie in, staff extremely friendly, examined but didn't want to do expensive testing, which worked because next day Annie was fine. Anti-inflammatory helped, nothing seriously damaged.

They are the best! Been going to vets with my pets for almost 50 years. I was taking my dog to their sister clinic in Geneva but I am transferring her to country vet. They are wonderful. You will also be thrilled with them. Make your appointment for your pet today

Dr. Artello is very thorough and he doesn't stop until he figures out what the issue with your pet is. You can find him at the Conneaut office most days and on Tuesdays at the Jefferson office. He worked with our beagle until he figured out what was wrong and as a result our beagle has had a better life!

I had to put my dog down of 15 years and this place was very very good to me and my dog. I hope I don't have to come back to them for this kind of service but I would recommend them to anyone who needs to do this unfortunate event.

Has a very caring staff. Have been here several times even during covid they would come out to car & get my dog. They still offer it to me. I can trust them. I have a 110lbs Great Dane Pit mix.

Too expensive. Vets should greet EVERY patient…VERY VISIT…They are not busy all the time.
Plus they push extra services to generate revenue.
If you just need pills refilled… FILL THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST. but they know it all… no input allowed from customers.
Been going there for 8-9 years… need to wake up and adjust their practice. Too big for Ashtabula.
Today was the end of our patronage.
