We chose Primrose based on the recommendations and glowing reviews from multiple friends - they have not disappointed.The teachers and staff members have been incredible. They are all warm, caring, and nurturing - there is a very personable feel at the school. Our son is always excited to see his teachers and friends each day at drop off. I also feel as though there is a good emphasis on education and various lessons starting at a young age, rather than waiting until preschool to start the teaching. We have been very pleased!

We've had an excellent experience at Primrose Hudson! The teachers have been wonderful and have truly made our daughter feel comfortable, which was especially tricky since this was her first experience away from mom/dad. The staff is always kind and approachable, and we love how well-informed they keep us, particularly through the daily photos!

My daughter has attended Primrose for the last four years. She started in the early preschool room at age 2. She was able to recite her phone number and address by the time she was 2 and a half!! The curriculum is over the top! When she started kindergarten she was way ahead of the game! Most importantly, primrose has done a fabulous job with keeping her safe. My daughter has several food allergies from peanuts, tree nuts to beans and pineapples! Primrose would go above and beyond to accomdate her food allergies. I would drop her off everyday with no worries. They even offer birthday cupcakes to order as a birthday treat! It is really nice to have a center who will go above and beyond at any length so that every child is included! This summer she attended the summer camp and could not wait to go! Primrose had both educational and fun experiences! Such as, young chefs and MAPS muesum. Every day was a different adventure! I am truly grateful that we found Primrose school of Hudson! It is by far the best child care center around! My daughter is already looking forward to next summer!

The Primose School of Hudson has been a lifeline for our family as we started off our new lives in Hudson. The staff has given our two children a great start to their education and the love they need to nurture and grow. My oldest started at 3 and was prepared for Hudson schools when he entered and my youngest started as an infant and loves his school. Would highly recommend Primrose to anyone looking for a quality, safe and caring environment for your children!

My family and I have moved quite a lot over the years and, in doing so, have been through numerous daycares. It's never easy trying to find a place that emphasizes academics, social skills, fun, the arts, a joy of learning, and still manages to make your child feel loved. Primrose of Hudson is one of those schools. Not only do the children grow academically, they feel they are in a safe space and are truly loved by their caregivers. They also learn the other important skills such as kindness, the joy of giving, the reward of rising to the challenge, using words to express feelings, and working together as a team. The office team is also very helpful, responsive and knows each individual child well. It does not feel like a business. It feels like a place where they want your child to flourish and will work with you. Primrose of Hudson also gives back to the community in many different ways. My children have been through the Pre-K program and the Kindergarten programs there and I am so pleased that they did. Again, having seen many different daycares in many different states and always finding the best one in the area in which we lived, Primrose of Hudson was the right choice for us here.

Our daughter has been with a nanny for the last 3 years, but we decided it was time to integrate her into a school setting for pre-academics and socialization. We were nervous about our decision and had an excellent experience with our two older daughters at another local daycare. While we could have returned to the center we were familiar, there are things about Primrose that are just different. We like the uniform aspect and the home-cooked meals and snacks. It takes the fuss out of deciding on an outfit and packing a lunch the night before. We also love the Tadpoles app that allows us to see her day through pictures, notes and activities. The facilities are beautiful, kid friendly and the playground is amazing! The cost is comparable, if not less expensive than other local daycares (and they prepare the food!).Upon the transition, our daughter had several tearful mornings at drop-off because it was a such a change for her. However, whoever received her was so kind and nurturing and very attentive. Her classroom teachers are topnotch and she is learning so much! She now runs to the door and is happy when she enters the building.We couldn't ask for a more caring and nurturing environment!

My oldest son has attended Primrose since the day it opened in December 2012. When our old daycare closed, we looked at several different options for childcare, but none compared to the warm, caring staff, excellent curriculum, and beautiful facilities at Primrose. We have been very pleased with our experience at this school. My son learns about many subjects (at 4 years old, he knows more Spanish than I do), and has a lot of fun as well. The staff has also been instrumental to success during difficult transitions like potty training. When we had another baby, I felt comfortable leaving him in the care of the excellent staff when I went back to work 12 weeks after his birth. Between our two sons, our family has experience with nearly every level from infant to preschool, and through each stage of development, our sons have thrived. Friends and family often comment on how smart, kind, or friendly my children are, and I know that Primrose has contributed greatly to these qualities. Our children attend on a part-time basis, 3 days per week, and they have accommodated this schedule wonderfully, even providing a reduced part-time tuition for our infant son, which many centers do not do. A previous commenter mentioned a high cost of care. I found that many other centers were similarly priced, but the value at Primrose was so much better! Most importantly, I feel confident that the teachers and staff genuinely care for my sons, and always have their well-being in mind. I would highly recommend Primrose to any families in the area looking for great childcare and education for their children.

Our daughter has attended Primrose Hudson for a little over one year. She has enjoyed every day at Primrose. We feel that Primrose Hudson is not an ordinary day care, it is a “school” that takes great care of kids and educates them through their well designed curriculum. When our daughter was two and a half year old, we decided to send her to childcare for her better growth and development. We were nervous about finding a good place. We looked at many childcare places in Hudson. When we walked into the Primrose for the first time, we immediately felt welcome and at home. Helping our daughter transition from homecare to childcare was not an easy task. We still remember the first day we sent our daughter to Primrose how worried we were. The owner Jana and the director Laura sent us an email with a picture of our daughter during the day to let us know that she was having a great day at Primrose. It was very thoughtful and caring. We love everything about Primrose Hudson, from the new facilities, wonderful playground, to the friendly teachers and staff, and the great on-site kitchen. We feel very confident that our daughter is surrounded with love and security.

Our family has had a fantastic experience at Primrose! The staff has gone above and beyond to care for and educate our children in a safe, friendly, and nurturing environment. The school's commitment to fostering emotional growth in its students both inside and outside the classroom has made a significant impact on our children. By recognizing the unique qualities in each child, and celebrating diversity in all its forms, the Primrose School has strengthened our children's confidence and love of learning. A day at Primrose always starts with a warm welcome at the door. The office staff knows everyone by name and engages with families before the children ever enter the classroom. The owners are wonderful and it is obvious how much they care about each and every student's education, safety, and well being.We have been at Primrose for almost 2 years now and all of the teachers have been very friendly and knowledgeable. The communication is outstanding. We get written information daily in addition to emails and pictures, so we always know whats going on during our son's day. We find the curriculum to be great. I am always amazed by what he has learned in both academic and practical life skills. Everything has been thought out, even the nutrition program at the school is top notch with health meals and snacks. The activities they plan for the kids are so much fun! From community helpers coming in (dentists, vets, police officers,etc.), to field trips, and a summer program that can't be beat.Our son's social skills have really started to shine through, which is great because he is very shy. He likes all of this teachers and has made a lot of friends. He likes it so much that when I asked him what he wanted for Christmas he said "Primrose."We know how lucky we are to have found Primrose of Hudson and we know that our son is in the very best hands to begin his educational journey.

We had our first child almost two years ago. We looked at several child care options before he was born trying to find the right fit. I was very discouraged and about to give up when we found Primrose. We came in on an open house without any appointment and were given personal attention and welcomed with loving arms. The staff made you feel right at home and the school was warm and cozy. I knew then that this place was the next best thing to staying home and caring for our son myself. Since my son has been born and been at Primrose, I have not been disappointed. The staff truly cares about him, and you can tell he cares about them. As he's moved up to the older rooms, he still wants to stop by and see the teachers that cared for him in his other rooms. He's making friends. He's growing and developing at a rate that I didn't think was possible. He's always active - doing, exploring, thinking and most of all having fun. I see it in the pictures they send and in his behavior when he gets dropped off and picked up. The staff truly care and I can say that I work easy knowing that he's having a great day and in the next best place to mom.
