stylist was rude and condescending
i was a mother of the groom getting an updo
stylist would not showing me what she was doing. i kept asking questions and she was rude with comments and kept giving me excuses only to show me after she was done and i didn’t like it asked for change and got a very rude comment my daughter that was with even noticed how rude she was. style wasn’t what i wanted and looked like mess

I made an appointment with Gia at the Hudson salon. BIG mistake. I normally would go to the Mayfield salon, however they were booked for the day I was requesting. I was booked for an hour slot, but was told by Gia that she would not have the time to do my full cut in one day, and that I would have to come back another day to then finish the full cut. (WHAT!). After telling Gia that would not be possible seeing that I worked the next 10 days straight. I showed her the pic that I wanted and she said that she could do this cut. (Pixy cut) my hair to start with was quite long. After the first shampoo, Gia asked two more times to see the pic of the cut that I wanted, then she proceeded to cut my hair, with DULL scissors that I had pointed out to her, with her response being that she was off the day the scissor guy came in to sharpen. The haircut that I left with was by far the worse cut I’ve had in my 57 years. So very disappointing. I can’t even explain the back or what she was even thinking. (But I do have pics!)
I never told Gia that I had done hair in the past (even worked with Stacy) and I just knew from the get with all the Red flags that she obviously needed a lot more training. I was not asked to pay for this cut, but to be honest, I wish I had never booked this appointment. Please for the love of God, stylists, if you are unsure if you can do a specific cut, just don’t. I’d rather honesty then leaving with a bad cut, and both of our times being wasted.

This salon offers the cutest chic atmosphere with all the small town vibes we love! Ofc, I’m biased bc they are an Aveda salon which is an absolute must in my book - but it’s so much more than just having the best products. Everyone is so polite, I always feel welcomed with a warm greeting. Due to my schedule, I’ve had a few different stylist and they were all extremely talented in their work. Not only were they personable, providing effortless (professional) conversation throughout my appointment, but each time my stylist created the exact look I requested. I’m pretty simple with my hair, I keep it long and touch up my highlights once a year. They listen carefully to my wants and always deliver. Highly recommend!Services: Haircut

Went in for a basic cut and style and asked that my hair be cut just barely above my shoulder line. She cut it several inches above that, at my chin. Furthermore, she styled it to look absolutely nothing like I requested (the photo I showed her was a wavy look and she styled it pencil straight). Normally I wouldn’t mind, as hair grows back, but we have family pictures coming this month. I chose this salon hoping I could receive a more reliable haircut before the family photos, but instead left almost in tears.

Thanks so much to John Roberts Spa for fitting this new Mama in for a last minute appointment after my little girl came early so I could feel like myself for newborn photos and have my hair done! They were and always are so accommodating, fitting me in after my daughter arrived a few weeks early. Kristen is absolutely amazing and everyone there is so kind and I wouldn’t get my hair done anywhere else! It feels more than just a Salon. My husband gets his hair cut here to and loves it. I can’t wait for my daughter to be old enough to need her first haircut here!!

I had an excellent experience here! I booked a manicure and pedicure with Mo, and was so happy with both services. Mo is a sweetheart, and she did an amazing job on my nails. I'm a nurse and my shellac manicure lasted more than 2 weeks. She also suggested some great Aveda products to try when I asked her what her favorites were, and I love all of them as well! Great salon, great people! I can't wait to come back!
