Great holiday shopping! I really enjoyed shopping local and First & Main was the perfect place to do so. I wish our toy store was still here, then nearly all my holiday shopping would have been completed at First & Main.

First and Main Hudson is the shopping Main Street and area for Hudson. The small boutiques and restaurants in the area are delightful to walk and window shop, even if you don't buy anything.

I went to first and main in Hudson. The whole area is very pretty a bunch of unique shops and places to eat. A number of coffee shops and great places to browse. You can see the clock tower and gazebo. A must go while in Hudson.

Tomato Grills happy hour is great. We frequent there quite a bit. I also shop the shops on a regular basis.

Overall I really like it.. it can get very confusing on the different roads on where to go.. they have a lot of family events there throughout the year..

Wonderful assortment of eclectic shops that are one-of-a-kind. There are a few chain stores, but they don't seem to do as well as the one-off owners do. As an example, the local bookstore there does an annual Harry Potter night where they decorate like you'd find in the books and open up at midnight. Really cool.

I love our new downtown but love the old downtown even more. I like to go hear to relax and do a little shopping maybe pick up a few presents. I've noticed that once you speak to some of the clerks they are equally friendly. They may be a little stand-offish at first but they are people just like us. I don't notice that there is a caste system like there used to be back in the day. And it's safe and fun and a lot to look at and eat and drink and ice cream. Can have your hair done, pedi/mani and drink a glass of wine. Love it! Wish my mom was still here to see it as I'm sure she would've loved it as well.

I was in Chico's, Talbots, Loft, all if which no one spoke to me, WHBM, I was spoken to, just not pleasantly, Gap, very friendly. Do these people not realize without the customer, there is no paycheck?

This is a cute little place to get away to and enjoy a summer evening shopping. Not as developed as Legacy Village or Crocker Park, but its a nice option if its close by. My friend and I got smoothies and Cali Juice, and walked around the premises for a while. I believe they also hosted a few Harry Potter themed parties here, centered at the Learned Owl Book Shop.

First & Main is a decent shopping center that was a necessary addition to the Historic District of Hudson. Here, you can find a variety of stores and restaurants, as well as year round events. Food options include: Heinen's Village Market, Caribou Coffee, Aladdins (see review), Cali Juice (see review), San Francisco Oven, and a few other options. There are a few shops, both chains and independents. The new Hudson library can also be found here. However, I find the selection of businesses to be just average, although there are a few ones that are great. If you wanted to live down in the Historic District without having to maintain an older home, there are new townhomes being built here that appear to be very nice. Overall, if you are in Hudson or surrounding communities, this is a good place to stop and spend some time. However, unlike Legacy Village, it's not worth more than a 10 or 15 minute drive.
