Placed an order online with a $100 gift certificate. Credit card declined the remaining $2 balance due to fraud alert. When I called the company to change the payment method, I was told the certificate had now expired and would not be honored. Service rep did not seem to understand the issue at all and could not explain when the certificate expired or why. Will never order from here again.

They have the most awful customer service. I had a package from them stolen right off my front porch. They wouldn't do anything about it saying that the deliverer said it was delivered.I had the same thing happen before and the company, I don't remember who it was, offered to resend the merchandise. Daedalus Books just said so what.

Books ordered rarely in stock and partial orders sent without notifying customer. Poor customer service. UPDATE: All has been made right due to excellent customer service from Heidi!

Ordered several books considering I would pay only $8.95 for shipping. I was sent only one book as others became unavailable! I was not even asked if I wanted to continue with only one book. I was charged flat rate of $8.95 shipping for a single book.

Bought some exciting photography books from the Maryland store before it shut down. Most of the books were still in their shrink wrap, just the kind of oddity for a collector. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sad to hear it closed. The location was tricky though with respect to foot traffic etc. Ah well.
