The repair department were very nice and pleasant to interact with. Very professional and the time they quoted me to get my car repaired was on point. The waiting area is quiet and comfortable. I like that you could get texts to keep you updated on your vehicle.

Wow. We have bought 4 cars from them!. I actually WAS looking into a brand new K5 also. Their service dept tho is very sketchy. My 2017 sorrento bought brand new. Always burned oil. Told them every oil change and they would say "the car knows how you drive". But then now...i was under the oil consumption test. They sealed it. Took it up at 1,000 miles and 2 qt low. Then another 1 000 miles, low. Oil chamber cleaning done. Then another 1,000 miles and my husband had oil checked. I have the texts from while he was there. 1.5 qt low. He said they didn't give him a paper. I called up there asking for a printout. Spoke with Ret. He said he printed it out but they were talking and forgot to give to him. Said they submitted everything to kia for engine. Even spoke with Adam to clarify. Not to mention everytime we took it up there. The tech says each time. "Kia really stands behind their warranty" lol. Well... I haven't heard anything so I call today and they have 8/12 in system but Ret forgot to document it. So NOW, I'm over the miles which disqualifies. I said No. It was there on 12th for last reading. He speaks to Adam and calls me back. He apologizes and thinks he will be in big trouble over this. He said all they can do is have us do the 1,000 miles again. But.. since the 8/12 wasn't documented correctly it's gonna show we went over. He said you live in dayton? I said No I'm 20 miles from yall and work till 5pm everyday. He said figure out a way to bring it up here again and we will have to do it again? Seriously? I already spent 500.00 on a rental car because our vacation was planned for a year and it happened to be in the middle if this dang oil test so Cldnt use my car, and couldn't cancel vacation so had to spend 500.00 and now they screw up and possible cost me an engine over Ret and Adam's screw up. I work in a field where documentation is key! They need to learn a thing or two about how to do their jobs.

I just get more disappointed with my interactions with the customer service here.
I wanted to bring my car into the body shop after a tree fell on it just to make sure the dent didn’t compromise my windshield and sunroof and after a back and forth conversation with the service tech (I believe his name is Brett I could be wrong) I huffed because he kept asking me if I had an estimate from insurance and I said no and asked if I needed it for an appointment and he told me I didn’t, this guy said “I don’t know why you’re getting mad”
Because I just want my car looked at and it’s been three weeks of me just trying to bring it in and i feel like after paying 40,000 for a car I’d atleast be welcome to bring it in after a tree fell on it.
I didn’t yell at this man or cuss or even get passive aggressive. I’m really tired of the disappointing customer service. I just want my car looked at so I can get on with my life.

If I could give a zero I would. If you appreciate your car DO NOT take it there. They never do the work properly and you’ll leave with dents and scratches.

I took my 2022 Kia Stinger GT1 in for a failed driver side turbo and a rear main seal oil leak. All warranty work, the Tech (James Brown) literally was so incompetent that he didn't put my car back together all the way. I was told it was done and to come get it. I was driving, 20 mins after I picked it up and the car started over heating and the transmission quit moving. Steam poured from under my hood. He failed to hook up the bottom radiator hose clamp and the transmission quick connect. I paid to have my car towed back to Kia of Dayton. Due to poor workmanship, (even though they had it covered under warranty)they had to give me a brand new motor and transmission. I was rightfully upset, but kept my cool, not even raising my tone when speaking to the service manager Adam about my concerns with the same technician working on my vehicle a second time, after he had neglected to complete the original repairs correctly. He got mad at me for being upset and after my car got the new motor and transmission told me not to come back ever. I didn't make any threats, no police were involved. He was simply mad I knew about cars and kept point out things that were not broken when I originally came in for warranty work. After I finally got it back I took it to my own shop (I'm a certified tech myself) I found broken bolts in my engine block were he just ran Bolts without starting the threads properly. I had to drill and extract the broken bolts myself and retap to a 12×175 thread, I also found my passenger side turbo oil return line was leaking all over my alternator and I had a charging issue. I have a Zues scan tool and I am able to scan my own vehicle. It kept setting a P0599 voltage code. Also had a P0597 Tstat code from where they transferred the old Tstat from the overheated motor to my new motor, I bought all the parts out of pocket and fixed my car myself and it runs great now. Sadly, if I were not a technician and an average consumer, this would have been a really expensive out of pocket repair and Kia of Dayton told me to not come back. I contacted Kia consumer affairs and spoke to the local rep and he told me sorry but they can't help me because my issue is with a dealership not Kia as a company. I do not recommend Kia of Dayton, worst service department of all. I will no longer buy a Kia vehicle ever again and this is my 3rd one. I have 22k miles and still under warranty, but I'll be fixing my own car from here forward so it doesn't end up worse off at a Kia dealership....
