“Animal Wellness and Healing Center has seriously become our new trusted center for all of our vet care and therapy needs. We highly recommend and promise that you will love it here, too! Whether you're looking for a more holistic approach, new integrated or the good old fashioned way there is a veterinarian and approach here just for you that will meet your needs, expectations and you can set up your therapy plan of care sessions right here at the same facility. My 18 yr. old doxie had a serious health concern. She had a stroke and lost use of her hinds, leg weakness and some cranial nerve damage. She was rushed to MedVet in Akron. With no appropriate answers other than to keep her comfortable and prepare for the worst, and same 'unsure results' at her usual vet with no same day time slots open for us, so I called Animal Wellness for help and a third opinion and the front end office girls made an accommodation to get her in the same day to see Dr. Padayao. He's a wonderful and caring doctor who took excellent care of my baby, gave us a diagnosis and began therapy on her. My Molly being 18 years old had a combination of issues that were addresses thoroughly and diligently by this wonderful physician. He gave her a chance, and she progressed under his care. She was also recommended to their in house physical therapist, Lisa. Lisa is phenomenal! She's kind and professional and really knows her line of work. We look forward to her therapy sessions and she always goes above and beyond. She selflessly took the time to build Molly a pt. cart to assist us with our in home therapy time and taught us exercises that we were able to do at home, to help make Molly stronger. Molly was also seen by Dr. Meluch, who specializes in rehabilitation and pain, which was extremely important due to Molly's age, mobility issues and current therapy regimen. Dr. Meluch also offers acupuncture, right there at the facility. She was honest and straight forward with her trustworthy recommendations and opinions. She's also kind, caring and loving. She never hesitates to listen, advise and help when needed. I later learned that she owns the practice, too! Makes perfect sense, because along with her passionate medical expertise, behind this facility is a group of people that devote their hearts to you. Here, you're more than just a patient. It's more than just monetary. Your concerns are valid, they listen, go above and beyond, answer your questions, help, you're permitted to call and speak to the physicians and most importantly, you feel safe and trusting. You're treated like family. I sincerely am forever grateful to this establishment and all of the people involved that make it great! Way to go, Animal Wellness, and thank you for everything that you do and have done for us!!”

“We have been a long time customer at the Grove City location going back over 16 years. Unfortunately when it came time to say goodbye to our beloved pet, we had to go to their Hermitage location. As saddened as we were about the situation, the staff made us as comfortable as could be given what was having to happen. They didn’t rush or push my daughters to say goodbye. They gave us a private room and told us to take as long as we needed with our babygirl. It allowed us to depart on our terms and not a “sorry for your loss, next please …” type scenario. They encouraged us to take pictures, did her paw prints for free, and helped us choose what to do with her remains. It was a somber experience made doable because of their compassion patience and understanding.”
“This practice gets a five-star and higher experience from me. I have an unusual circumstance where a swan was bit by a turtle and severed the web space between his toes. Dr. Fette very professionally agreed to suture the damaged foot. Their kindness is amazing. Highly recommend them to all.”

“I left a vm at 530 am trying to see if they could get my beloved cat Charlie in if there was a cancelation. They called me back, I explained how ill my cat was, I would prefer a local vet before heading to medvet. I arrived with my sister, and Charlie was in bad shape. The workers were amazing, the doctor covering for Dr Allen was amazing. Although we helped my Charlie get his wings, they were compassionate and informative with Charlie's condition. On behalf of Charlie, I want to thank that doctor and EVERY girl in that building, for every kind thing and going above and beyond to get us in, Charlie died in building built on love from every worker there. I want to extend my appreciation because our time did cut into your small lunch/break window during an extremely busy day. Thank you for caring for my sweet Chucky. ❤️?”

“Dr Maro is a great vet for basic veterinary needs such as vaccinations, illness, injuries, pain management such as chiropractic & acupuncture, etc… however I don’t feel he has the staffing, space, or means to perform surgeries. I appreciate his evening hours but when it comes to spading & neutering or any other type of surgery I will take my pets to a different facility. Overall he’s a great Dr and we will continue to take our pets to him for our pets routine veterinary needs. Thanks Dr. Maro!”
