Let me address the **** I saw someone posted recently!! First I am a 100% disabled US Army Veteran. I reached out to numerous trainers, schools and places to get help when the VA told me to get a service animal. Thankfully I found The Canine Campus. Katie the owner went over and beyond for myself and Neo.A bit of background Neo was a rescue and if you know about animals from shelters most of the time they do not have the best backgrounds if any. Katie told me there was a chance we would not even be able to complete training because there is always a chance the dog and myself may not have the highest of bonds or just some dogs really do not want to work. Well I am glad to say within 2 months of working with her Katie not only saw my willingness to get Neo trained but Neo's willingness to learn.Since we did not know his entire background we went through the aggressive dog training class as well. We sure did use treats, praise and love to get by in this class and yep I sure did see some dogs that had to even get pills to help them calm down. But by sticking to the lessons myself and Neo were able to learn and prevent any kind of aggressive behavior before it ever becomes a problem. At for the statements from Chris Gagliardi saying ;1st: “She tells me they “ help “ veterans! Well they must help every veteran EXCEPT me.”Well Chris I will be happy to talk directly about all the Veterans I have sent to Katie and The Canine Campus because of the work she did with Neo and myself.2nd: “NO DISCOUNT FOR VETERANS”Chris this statement is truly laughable. Chris the fact is this place is one of the ONLY places that offers true discounts for veterans and works with Veterans and their animals they want to get trained no matter how long or how much time it takes.3rd: “TALK TO YOUR VETERINARIAN BEFORE TAKING YOUR ANIMALS TO THESE PEOPLE! TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! THANKS FOR NOTHING BUT STEALING MY MONEY CANINE CAMPUS!”I saw the replies from the owner directly offering to work with you one on one but you also have to be willing to do the work. This means scheduling the training and following through on it even when you are at home with your daily assignments. These animals are like people in a way if you do not use it they can lose it meaning it is not just going to happen over night. A waste of time and money is not returning with the offer of the free training directly from her if you seem to have issues with any trainer there.Chris I will offer you this as well from one Veteran to another. If Katie would allow, I will join any time you guys decide on a date to be there as another form of support to help you out because let's admit it sometimes as Veterans we need another Veteran to understand things in the civilian world.I have had my service dog Neo now for over 3 years and 4 months. He is my right hand no matter what. We have traveled, stayed in different states, go to Dr appointments, go to the VA in Cleveland and Youngstown. If I am there, so is my boy Neo.Feel free anybody to reach out to me for any questions about our experience here.

Literally the WORST thing I’ve ever wasted money on. Their aggression classes for dogs is total garbage! The only thing they do it’s try to throw treats at the issue hoping your dog will change, then when it doesn’t work they tell you to get pills for your dog.The instructor quit half way thru the class. The woman running the place said we should try again, then she NEVER calls back to tell me when the classes are.She tells me they “ help “ veterans! Well they must help every veteran EXCEPT me.NO DISCOUNT FOR VETERANSTALK TO YOUR VETERINARIAN BEFORE TAKING YOUR ANIMALS TO THESE PEOPLE!TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!THANKS FOR NOTHING BUT STEALING MY MONEY CANINE CAMPUS!

My dog loves taking classes with Mariah. She is so helpful during classes and gives great advice/methods to try outside of classes with other behavioral issues. I feel like I have learned so much and enjoyed all of the classes we've taken so far. Also, the dog daycare is amazing and we recommend it to all of our friends! Thank you!!

It's been long enough. I haven't worked there in 2 years but I loved the job, my coworkers, my boss, everyone. I did feel like I was asked to do more than my fair share for what I was paid, but I tried my best because i loved the job. After covid I felt hurt bc she could get people to do my job for free & basically told me I was not affordable.Understandable, but I even said I would do it for free, which she felt was unfair. I loved that job. Katie is very knowledgeable about dogs & if you need basic obedience or help with a problem, she's the best in the county. I miss the dogs, I miss the clients, and I miss those I felt like were my friends. But nothing lasts forever. I wish them well with the new location. It worked out well because I found an amazing opportunity but I'd give up the $ to work with animals again.Off topic but her husband, Dr Costello is by far the best vet in TCounty.

So much patience with the pups and ability to let us know what to expect from our puppies and their body language. My pup passed his puppy test today. So proud and will be saving up for him to continue to go here each level and continue to grow!

Kelly is my trainer and she absolutely loves her job. She gets to know the dogs and owners and helps them teach their dogs to listen. Thanks Kelly.

My dog has attended Canine Campus for over a year. The patience and care they have given is extraordinary. He has achieved Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog Certification. He is currently in the Service Dog Program. ******************** has allowed him to go to different training sessions that would help him in the Service Dog Program. Although it is time consuming it is well worth the effort. Her trainers are fabulous training not only my dog, but also me, the owner.

When my reactive German Shepherd needed assessed I called multiple places. I was told he was “too old” and that I should have had him in training a year ago. I was made to feel like I’d failed him. Not only did the trainers at The Canine Campus welcome me, they understood my frustration and never made me feel like bad person for trying to correct him on my own. I was offered an assessment, one on one training, compassionate support and the change was incredible. My reactivity to his reactivity was exacerbating the problem!! Gentle and clear instructions and kindness towards my dog resulted in steady progress. I couldn’t be happier. If you want aggressive training, this isn’t the place for you. If you want people who listen to your concerns, work with you through it all and make sure you and your pet leave happy and safe..I HIGHLY recommend calling them. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Hard to hear, dog that lives there barks CONSTANTLY. WAS given poor advice on leash holding. Wasn't enough 1 on 1 attention. Too basic.
