A good selection of hardware, woodworking, and garden supplies. It even has a decent selection of groceries.

Large selection, high prices. Walked around inside, looking for someone to help with a question about decking. It was only when I approached somebody at a desk that I was able to get help. However they did not have stock samples of decking to take out.

Robert back and paint was amazing. He had a long line of people asking so many questions and he was so calm, relaxed, and in order. Once it started to get overwhelming, he called another team member and the execution was great.

The process dictated by corporate headquarters for renting a truck is ridiculous. I understand it's their knee-jerk reaction to issues occurring in the past, but there is a better way to address those problems. Situation: Needed 50 bags of mulch loaded on Menards rental truck. First, must go all the way back to the back of the store to the construction counter to place the order for 50 bags. Second, have to go to a cashier at the front of the store and pay for it. Third, need to go all the way to the Returns counter to rent the truck, (hoping that by the time you have gone through the prior steps that a truck is still available since it is first come first serve). If you are fortunate enough, the 75 minute clock starts when you get the key to the truck, then you need to go thru the gate into the yard and attempt to find someone that can operate a forklift to load 50 bags on the truck without taking too much time away from the 75 minute allowance. Since they loaded the truck with the mulch on a palette, upon your return, need to drive the truck and unload menards palette inmenards designated recycled palette area. Again, taking more time of the 75 minutes. On top of that, menards will charge $6 for every 15 minute block of time exceeding 75 minutes, which means 1 minute into a 15 block, charged $6. It used to be that the 75 minutes didn't start until you left the gate of the yard after being loaded. When you changed the process because you assumed truck renters were taking too much time shopping in the store before exiting the gate, could it be that the delay was due to menards lack of qualified forklift drivers available to load customers promptly? You thought it was the customer wandering around in the store with no intentions other than to reduce menards truck rental revenue stream. WRONG! It's possible they were wandering the store to buy more items, which is the essence of your existence. Enough said. I'm sure you get the picture. Please look into this and revamp your process.

Love this place and the mail in rebates! Please build one in Perrysburg!!! Often have to go to Home Depot instead which they sadly no longer price match Menards ?

“Thanks for wasting my time” says the store manager after he couldn’t answer my questions. Went in on 5/16/24 to rent a truck and nobody could tell me how much mileage costs. I literally had 3 different answers from the folks working at the desk. Finally got the store manager over and he was extremely disrespectful and agitated when he couldn’t find the mileage cost in the contract or on his computer. Why would I rent something if you can’t put the cost in writing?

Ordered vinyl siding for my 1 car garage. Went to pick it up and noticed I had been charged over $49 for packaging of siding and another $5.99 for starter strip packaging. Was told Menards started this charge about a year ago. In the past I have always purchased large items from there without a packaging charge. The packaging consisted of a couple of pieces of shrinked
wrap. Have many more items to order for large projects this summer. I for sure will not purchase them at Menards. Done with them for good.

I placed an order online for pickup. When I showed up, after looking for the place to actually pick it up from which was not laid out very well, no one knew where any of the material was that I had ordered. Some said outside sunset inside and on top of that I needed to pick it up myself. What's the point of an online order if I have to go get it myself? So I spent 2 hours looking for the material and asking at least 5 to 7 people where to look for it. Never using this place again.

Good service good prices. It’s a big box store so don’t expect too much but easy enough to get in and get out other than the sheer size of the place.

My husband and I come here almost every week for items that he needs for his job along with other side items, and every time, we have a great experience. The cashiers, for the most part, are always nice and do a great job. It's usually not a long wait in line either, even on busy days like the weekends. I love the rebate option and how randomly they will have a bag upon entering the entrance side that you can put your items inside to then get a discounted price. These bag sales have saved us a lot of money. Menards, in my opinion, is the more affordable home improvement/hardware store in the holland area. There is even a grocery area that we frequently visit to buy food/beverage items like coffee, pop, candy, chips, dips, and more.
