I always comparison shop before heading into the store. Menards beats HD on price and selection every time. The 11% rebates are the icing on the cake.

This location wouldn't price match a griddle on sale with Best Buy due to it not being the neighboring store. It was still within 30 miles. They also tried to claim it wasn't the same model number. Funny how the box matches your website. I'll stick with shopping at the other big box stores since they don't care enough to keep a customer. I even went in store after my phone call to see if they'd change their mind. Still turned away!

I hate this place so much
I only come here if I absolutely have to. Latest reason why.
I needed 1/2 inch rebar. Spend 10 minutes wandering around the store can’t find it. Look it up on the web site section 172 got it. Section 182 stops into nowhere and the next number is 45….ok? The web site won’t geo locate me so I have to google maps the store to find the zip code to load back into the web site to locate the store to get the store map. Find rebar and take picture of upc symbol. Go up front….sorry I can scan this here you need to go back and get a load ticket and come back. Get load ticket and drive around the back to get rebar stored outside. Total time 40 minutes.
At Home Depot I go to the concrete section clearly marked on clear signs in the store load my rebar in a cart and pay. 10 minutes. My time isn’t worth your 11 percent rebate. I only come here if this is the only place on earth I can buy something. The repetition of the Menards jingle over and over again In The store slowly driving you insane. It’s not this store it the whole cabin nationwide it’s all the same.

Got a water heater from here, drove all the way home and it was damaged. Brought it back and asked for discount since it’s 1.5 hour round trip drive and they wouldn’t do anything for me. I’ve spent thousands in here over the last few years. Will be giving Lowe’s and Home Depot a chance now.

A good selection of hardware, woodworking, and garden supplies. It even has a decent selection of groceries.

Large selection, high prices. Walked around inside, looking for someone to help with a question about decking. It was only when I approached somebody at a desk that I was able to get help. However they did not have stock samples of decking to take out.
