We have a loved one here and she is very well taken care of it's been 4 years now. The staff are great sure you have some agency but that's everywhere you go my loved one care is spot on the building is clean no smells unlike some other NC I've been to I would recommend this place others. Thank you to all the nurses, nurse aides, and all the other staff who help make this place very nice

Facility itself isn’t bad, but between lack of people that care, lack of staff and everything else in the mix makes it horrid. Worked here for the first time the other day for agency and will never return. Worked all alone down the hallway and was emotionally and physically drained before even half of my shift went by. DON can be helpful but acts irritated as if we aren’t here to help HER and HER staff, and HER residents. Almost as if she felt ungrateful. The only other helpful staff members here were like me, agency. The patients have to suffer as a result of no one coming in or calling off and aides and nurses are DNRing from here (by their own choice) because of how awful working conditions are. I wouldn’t send family here due to turnover rate and due to the in house staff not being helpful. Save your time, take your family elsewhere or find home health. Most of these facilities are like this anymore

My aunt stayed here the last 6mo. The staff showed true compassion and care for not just my aunt but our entire family. I loved attending the community events with my children. It brought great joy to see such thoughtfully planned activities to share with the residents and families . When I had questions about activities and ages Lacey K. Was a true super hero in helping me navigate my concerns . Our family can’t wait to come back for the next community events

Genacross Wolf Creek is an awesome place to work, positive environment, with a supportive staff. I truly enjoy working there.I believe in this company so much that I moved my mother into the nursing care center (getting ready to move to the Assisted Living) I cannot rave enough about the exceptional care that my mother receives at the center from the nursing staff, the aids, therapy, the Dietary department and the social worker, who is super supportive and made her transition very easy. Anne is true patient advocate. Even the maintenance dept takes the time to talk to and help the residents daily. I have been a RN for 18+ years so I am not an easy customer to please lol but this center has the most caring staff I have EVER encountered in LTC. If you are looking for rehab, short term long term or Assisted living, I encourage you to come to our beautiful campus and meet these amazing people for yourself!!!!!

It is my privilege to work as full-time chaplain here. I'm proud of my colleagues and the care we've provided the past five years. Care work is always challenging - especially since 2020 - and I'm grateful to work with so many folks who get the mission. There is a community among residents and families here that is unique. Finally, the campus here is so precious. I feel like our residents live and I work in a park. That is good for the soul.

My mother has dementia. She's always been a person on the go. Never dud dhe lay in bed, even after surgery. She would get up and sit in her lazy boy but never sated in bed.... well, she fell and broke her right femur. Had surgery to repair it, sent her home two days later. She was not to be on her feet. But she didn't remember the fall or the surgery so she didn't understand why she couldn't get out if bed. They did not provide physical therapy for her and she would get out of bed and walk slowly around her room. The aides and nurses would find her standing and would yell at her and the nurse told me that she had told my mother that if she fell again, she'd wait to call a rescue squad and when she dud, she would tell them not to bring her back. So we moved her. And on the day she returned from the hospital they put her back in her bed, filthy sheets and all. Needless to say, we couldn't get her out of there soon enough. Don't put your family members in this facility. Not if you want great care. They don't give it here. Notice how her toe nails are growing under her toes.. never called or set her up with the facility's foot Dr.

Financial abuse, incompetent, unprofessional, untrustworthy, liars, bullies, intimidating, threatening. If your African American and there for skilled therapy and don't have a secondary payment source listed you welcome here but for therapy only after therapy you will be discharged weather you can pay the bill or not you'll never be asked cause they don't want you there and that decision was made before you got there. The executive director marty will be calling you demanding that you give him a address for discharge cause you can't stay there. If marty determines you cant pay then thats the end of your story. Hope felt like he wouldn't be there long so she mislead me about important appointments. Hope will only tell you about appointments and finances she wants to tell you about They will purposely miss appointments transportation will always show up but you won't be aware of the appointments and they don't even care enough to call you. Don't be black expecting for anyone to do there job cause we not worth the paper

This place is horrible it's horribly staffed. Management is very unprofessional. Do not work for them or take your family to stay at any of their facilities. Their STNA's are rude their dietary department is unsanitary their menu is limited and repetitive. You're better off anywhere but there in my opinion.

Doesn’t even deserve the 1 star. My grandma fell twice within 24 hours of being at this dump. She was also hospitalized due to severe dehydration.

I have been a Registered Nurse for 37 years. I came to WOLF CREEK as a RN SUPERVISOR almost 12 years ago. Felt like home the first week I was there. Was promoted within over 4 years ago and was accepted into my new role with enthusiasm. Long story short still feels like home and I’m surrounded by not only incredibly talented and compassionate professionals and coworkers... but they are also my family too. Words can’t express how proud and thankful to be a part of this AMAZING TEAM. THANK YOU ? AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL. Rebecca Kiefer RN MDS.

They have cared for my mother in a tender, compassionate way for many years. Through Luther Woods senior appt., Assisted Living, now long term care with hospice, they have been there for her and for me.
