I often find good deals but it’s always BIG line on the checkout!!!!
Several times I had to leave the things I wanna buy because of the long wait!

This is my favorite place to shop. You can find great buys here. They could probably do a better job of cashing people out. They never seem to have enough cashiers. The line gets pretty long sometimes.

Update: The company responded with one of their automatic statements. In this case, may I suggest an area by the door that says, "All shopping carts must return here before leaving". Put it right between the checkout and the door.

It was infuriating to buy whole bunch of heavy things and then get to the door and my shopping cart couldn't leave. There was no sign visible when I entered the store. It was only upon leaving the checkout that the sign was visible and I had to carry several heavy items to my car. The checkout guy was like, "There's a sign." Well, guess what? It wasn't visible when I came in. I'm very upset. He offered to give me help but he was busy and then he wouldn't be able to help me. So, he was just saying, "Do you need help?", when he knew he couldn't help me. Id have to just stand there waiting for him to get done with the check out with somebody or take care of my own stuff. I found it super inconvenient and I won't shop here for anything heavy again because I now know.

I'm leaving a 2 star because I did find a luggage, that is what I came in for, but the experience was a zero. So as I am shopping for luggage, I get 2 large suitcases. When I go to check out, I asked the rep if she could scan them in the cart to keep me from unloading and loading them back into the small cart. She said no. She said she has to remove the sensors. Okay fine. I place them on the counter, but apparently me asking her about leaving them in the cart made her feel as though I was trying to steal something in the luggage lol so she opened them both completely up and rubbed the inside of them. Okay fine, maybe shoplifting is at an all time high in this very affordable store idk. So then as she watches me load the suitcases back onto the cart, she says to me " you can't take our carts out of the store, you can pull your car up". My concern with that is- I am not leaving my purchased items unattended, and I am shopping alone, and the cashiers are not going to watch it, they are scanning people out. So as I am leaving out the store I stop to unload the suitcases to get them to the car and there is a lady who tries to take her cart out of the store and the cart locks up on her. I let her know what the cashier told me. This lady had several bags in her cart and a small child, maybe about 2 years old. As the lady takes her child out of the cart and then goes to try to grab her bags, her baby darts off out the door which automatically open and runs directly into traffic while this poor lady is trying to grab her things and control her toddler. It looked to me like a huge liability on Burlington end, just waiting to happen. Thank God the baby did not get hit by a car. The fact of it all is that the store treats customers like they are trying to take something from the store and the cart locking up at the door is bogus. I will stay away from Burlington at this point, it's unwelcoming and it is not worth the hassle.

The store has some good deals and variety, but the customer service is what is stellar. After a couple of Karens, Jessica turned to help me. She wasn't just nice and empathetic, but she exceeded all expectations. If you need clothes for school (or yourself), try Burlington first. You might pay a couple of dollars more than the W place, but with customer service like hers, it's worth it.

Love Burlington,it is very clean and has the most awesome merchandise ever.From clothes to accessories ,furniture pillows I could go on and on.Oh and the prices are really great values.Try it you’ll go crazy!
