These girls are amazing. They've assisted me in finding my latest family member, Boomer, the Super Heeler, whom I've come to love dearly. They've directed us in getting every stray cat I could get my hands on spayed or neutered. Thank you all so much! Truly a work of heart.

Super friendly staff onsite, everyone that works here is very caring toward the animals and genuinely want to help find these pets their forever homes. Very helpful and responsive in all communications and process. Hoping all goes while with our foster pup so we can adopt :]
The Highland Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c)3 animal shelter that provides a safe haven for dogs and cats while they transition from their past lives to their future forever homes. The Highland Humane Society offers several options for low cost spay/neuter and provides managed intake of cats and dogs in Highland County and surrounding counties when space permits. The shelter is a private organization originally founded in 1969. It is managed by a full-time staff and dedicated Board of Directors.
