Stefanie in Loft 9 is TOP TIER. I have incredibly thick and long hair, so I've always had trouble finding someone who could work with it. After some salon shopping, I found Stefanie, and she did not disappoint! She's great conversation, makes recommendations for services/cuts that will benefit your hair type and lifestyle, and then produces. She also starts with a complimentary temple/neck/shoulder massage every appointment, which is such a nice way to unwind and get comfortable before your service. I'm just so grateful I finally found my go-to girl. She is worth every penny and more.

Theresa West Barnes is the only hairstylist I trust to cut my bangs! She has been cutting and coloring my hair for 18 years, now! I love my hair every time I come and see her!

Strongly do not recommend getting your hair done by Theresa West Barnes in loft 21. I had a horrible experience with her doing highlights in my hair but was too embarrassed to voice my discontent. I gave her a second chance months later and went in to get my brown hair lightened and she turned my hair completely brassy/red despite me showing her pictures of what I wanted. She took exactly 30- 45 minutes to do my color and I left the salon with my hair wet despite having paid $160. When I voiced my discontent this time around she denied accountability for her bad hair job and refused a refund and proceeded to block me from sending her further messages regarding the issue. I am very disappointed in the professionalism of this stylist and even more so with her lack of quality work. Very pricey for below average work.

Kristen Hansen colored my hair. Despite showing her a picture, pointing out my existing hair color, and asking for light brown to match it, my hair is dark auburn. I emailed Kristen once I got home, washed it, and saw it in the light with my glasses on to tell her I was displeased and ask if she could lighten it. It's been 4 days. She hasn't responded.

I recently visited Theresa-West Barnes for the first time to get full highlights and a cut. I was charged for full highlights but got partial highlights maybe?? I was done within an hour and thought hummm. My hair never takes less then 2 hours to highlight. Left with wet hair and once it dried it looked no different from when I went in. I was way over charged for a haircut that per her pricing was included in the price. But when she was adding everything up was telling me everything separately. Quite confusing and misleading! I was also charged for conditioner I never asked for or was told about until she was charging me for everything!! It was the WORSE highlighting I have ever had and the most expensive ??♀️. Most women go to the salon to get pretty and feel refreshed and happy. Needless to say, that isn’t me the past week. I had a few friends ask me I was getting my hair done next and I told them I just had it done ??♀️. Embarrassing!! I won’t be returning and I now have to pay someone else to do the work i already paid her for! Totally disappointing! Lesson learned.

BEWARE: WOMEN WITH THICK LONG HAIR A while back, Ashley did my hair she didn’t give me what I wanted and gave me a whole different color and then tried to tell me that she was giving me a discount and telling me that I had too much hair and it would cost more next and not dying my roots telling me that I would look better without my roots dyed,which I came in to have done. I tried to be nice and even contacted her after but she didn’t respond definitely was taken advantage of and rushed through the process.
