I am truly in disbelief over the awful experience I just had at Massage Envy Hilliard. First off, I want to say the lady who works upfront is very nice. Robert, however, ruined my entire morning. I had been looking forward to this massage all day yesterday. He was extremely rude, awkward, and appeared to not even know where he was or what he was doing. When he came to get me from the waiting room, he just stared at me which prompted me to say “hello, I’m Laura, are you Robert?” He then took me back to the room, gave me absolutely no direction, and said “alright, face down” and left the room. Having only one other massage experience in my life a few years back, I felt extremely uncomfortable, unfamiliar, and frankly unwelcome. I stepped out of the room to find Robert and I wasn’t successful. I found another employee who was able to help me and explain things to me. When Robert came back I apologized and stated he didn’t really give me any direction. He again, basically just stared at me, told me he was “out of it” and that I was “his first client of the day,” to which I said “you know what, this is not a good vibe so I’m going to go.” I’ve been in so much pain all week and I was looking forward to this so much. I was holding back tears as I walked out because I was so angry and so let down. I will never return to this place. Assuming this man isn’t developmentally disabled, it’s shameful you allow this to continue.

This location is my go-to when it comes to getting a quality massage. The staff is always so friendly from the moment you step in until the moment you check out. I've seen several therapists here for a variety of services (massages, facials, and microdermabrasion) and have always been pleased. Each one brings a different element to their service. I most recently had a massage with Emile and it was wonderful! He was very attentive to my requests for areas of focus and pressure level. It was such a calming experience and I left feeling rejuvenated. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for some self-care!

I have had wonderful experiences here. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with happy and engaged front desk employees. Mr. Emile is one of the best massage therapists around. He is attentive to your preferred pressure as well as your specific requests. I always feel very comfortable with him. He’s never shorted me on time. The check out process is also seamless. I’ve never had an issue with booking another appointment. I would recommend this location to everyone!

My therapist was Robert. He listened to my concerns and expertly personalized my massage to fit my needs/address my severe pain. I walked out feeling so much better than when I walked in. A couple of hours after my massage, I was no longer in any pain at all! If I were rating Robert alone, my rating would be 5 stars.However, I have to rate the experience as a whole. I did not appreciate the lack of pricing transparency. As such, the business loses a star from me. When I went to book my appointment online, the website appeared to suggest that I’d be eligible for a $75 intro massage. So, imagine my surprise when I got to the end of my massage and was informed that my total was actually $135!When I inquired about this, I was told that the $75 price was only for certain locations/members. The website should have made that more clear. This felt like false advertising, so I wanted to give others’ a heads up.Unfortunately, due to my total being almost double what I anticipated, I was not able to leave a tip for Robert this time. But he did a fantastic job, and I’m thankful for his help.

Do NOT deal with this company. I bought my wife a year "membership" at $80 a month ($960). When she tried making appointments they told her they were booked 4-6 weeks out then the day of her appointment they cancelled on her and told her it would be another 4 weeks for her to get in!! By the end of the year (after I paid $960) she only used 4 of her 12 appointments. They told me in order for her to keep her credit she would have to continue to pay the monthly "membership". If she wanted to cancel she would loose the rest of that money ($640). Needless to say we lost our $640!!! We were NOT about to continue to pay them money and NOT get the services we ALREADY PAID FOR!!! The said that we don't pay for services, we pay for "membership" which is just a wording to legally RIP US OFF!!!! Repeat DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I seen Robert, I received an hour massage. There was no rhythm to it, he was all over the place and I’m pretty sure he kept falling asleep while giving me my massage. I got the impression that he definitely hated his job. Needless to say I probably won’t be visiting this location again!
