This Lowes is such a downer. Every employee I have interacted with here in the last year has been some combination of hostile, unhelpful, and/or clearly annoyed to be interacting with customers. Listen, I get that retail is not an easy gig. I really do. But the folks in this store seem to go the extra mile to treat customers poorly. Home Depot here I come!

I would give zero stars if I could. Our fridge broke and we immediately went to Lowe’s for a new one but I wish we would have gone with literally anyone else. We ordered it Wednesday and were told that it would be delivered on Friday with an email Thursday evening giving us a time block for delivery. Around 8pm on Thursday, we didn’t get an email yet so we called the delivery service and they gave us a time between 2-4pm. That should have been our warning sign. At 2pm, the delivery truck arrived and didn’t give us notice that they were there. No knock, doorbell, or call. They waited 30 seconds (yay for a doorbell camera) and left a note, then drove off. We saw them driving away and called the service immediately asking to reroute them back but the delivery staff marked us as “refused service. I work from home and my husband took the day off of work. Neither of us refused service. They rescheduled us for Sunday at noon leaving us without a fridge for another 48 hours (with a baby that is on formula and breast milk). Because of what happened on Friday, we were given an exact time instead of a timeblock. Well, noon rolled around and it’s still not delivered. We’re now very unsure of when we will have a fridge since no one will give us an update. Guess we’re living out of coolers. Thanks Lowes!

I went to Lowe's in Hilliard again for some paint. Bryan K. was working in the paint center all by himself and he masterfully waited on 3 customers simultaneously, including me. He went above and beyond to ensure all of my questions were answered. He provided the same high level customer service to the other two customers as well. One customer was waiting patiently while a bucket of paint was being mixed or stirred in a high powered machine. Another customer was asking question about the various types of paint and trying to select the perfect color. I was there to get a sample of floor paint. Bryan has years of experience and endless knowledge and it shows! Somehow he even managed to get all 3 customers, including me, to briefly chat with one another. That's not the norm for me. I actually enjoyed this experience. Bryan answered all of my questions and even prepared a color sample that he painted on a wooden stirring stick. He hand wrote the brand of paint and color information on the stick in case I returned to purchase in the coming days. He also answered all of my questions regarding paint removers. I had never met Bryan before, but I will definitely seek him out if I return to Lowe's in Hilliard. I had passed several other associates that treated me as if I was invisible, but Bryan was able to turn my experience around and I couldn't be happier. I've said it before and I'll say it again - great customer service is just as important, if not more important, to me as the product or service I am browsing or purchasing.

I went to return a nail gun because it wasn't firing then I get told it's past it's 30 day rerun policy by the manager, when I read the say it's say about about gas powered equipment not tools, then I get told I'm past the 90 day return policy' anyway I bought this nail gun 10/19/2022 I came in to rerun it 12/9/2022 maybe lowes should invest money into better education for this employee so they can learn to count, then the manger tells me to call Metabo and get a rerun approval from them so I call then the guy at the Metabo when I tell him about calling for a approval to return he laughs and says you can't call Metabo for a approval to return to Lowe's and he proceeds to tell me that none of the lowes managers or employee know the return policy and they don't train their employees right

We stopped in to check out an item needed for a home improvement project. It was in stock and easy to locate. The kid enjoyed checking out the large displays of Halloween and Christmas (yes, already!) decor set up - all of the inflatables, music-making ones, and a Santa climbing up and down a ladder. We had to check out that section twice, both on the way in and the way out! Restrooms were clean, and they added the door handles that can be opened with your foot, which is great. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is plentiful parking in the lot.

Recently purchased a new clothes dryer at this store. The customer service representative was very helpful and quickly completed my order, arranged for 12 Months no interest financing through my Lowe's card and had me on my way in less than 30 minutes. Delivery was scheduled for first thing Monday and the delivery team was a couple of very professional and friendly young men. They worked quickly and efficiently, explaining what they were doing at each step. Though the dryer went in to a tight spot, they managed with no damage to walls or trim. Excellent service all around!

Great location. Every Lowe's I go to anywhere else the employees always say, "this is not my department" whenever I ask for help, making my shopping experience very frustrating. Here I needed some help with some blinds, and there was no one in that department because they were on break. Jude went out of his way to get me what I needed and made my day much easier. He was also very patient and polite. Thank you so much, Jude!

NO LONGER RECOMMENDING LOWES. MINUS 100,000 stars DO NOT ORDER THINGS THAT NEED DELIVERED FROM THEM. IF IT IS DAMAGED IT WILL NEVER GET REPLACED. AND ESPECIALLY DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. YOU DEFINITELY GET NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH THAT. WILL BE SHOPPING The Home Depot FROM NOW ON.
After an initial horrible experience, due to the horrible delivery company corporate has contracted with, I tried to get it remedied, then decided I would just deal with it myself. Old stove was left in the kitchen, new stove in the garage. Then I realized that wasn’t my problem and they needed to fix it. Went in this morning and asked what they were going to do to make it right. The manager said he would get one of his guys and they would come out and fix the issue. Within an hour they were there and the stove was installed. (An hour for everything) Awesome service from them. Thank you!
Still need to ditch the delivery company.

With our new home, I regularly go to this Lowe's location to buy all sorts of things, from ceiling fans and light bulbs, to washer & dryer and cleaning supplies. I like the variety of selections, price ranges, and outstanding customer service.

Solid Lowe's location. Very popular/crowded. Still easy parking and good selection. Clean and organized from what we saw. Just needed one item and the employees were helpful in showing us its location.

BIG BOX HARDWARE. BIG. One of several sources I use for lumber and nuts, bots, nails, etc. when I have the need. Usually can walk in and find what I need in this well stocked & organized hardware giant - which is good because it's sometimes tough to find store personnel in the department I'm visiting. The sell many DIY home improvement items, including a selection of doors, windows, & bathroom, laundry, HVAC equipment, along with delivery & installation if you need it. Pretty decent garden supply area, and during the spring & summer months often offers discounted plants on close out, catch as catch can. Have purchased several fruit trees from Lowe's in the past (apple & pear) and the crop is spectacular this year!

Now in our 2nd bathroom remodel since quarantine Lowe's has been essential to meet our renovation needs. We have purchased everything but the flooring from here - toilets, vanity, faucets, blinds, accessories and even paint. We had shopped at other home goods stores but ultimately decided on Lowe's based on quality of goods, affordable price points & knowledge, friendly staff.

Charged me BEFORE order was even shipped. The store called later to tell me the item was back-ordered 6 months. I had to call Lowes Credit Card Service (Synchrony Bank) to "dispute charge". The bank also said I had to call the Manager at the store to let them know about the disputed charge. No business should charge you before a purchase is shipped.

It seems like a common theme on the reviews is the poor customer service and lack of help. I had a pick up order for 4 plumbing items. After an hour with no confirmation I decided To just go to the store. Molly in customer service was extremely rude. Even after I explained I spend over $100,000 dollars a year at this location she did not care. I told her I was going to grab dinner and be back. An hour later I came back and Sydney was just as rude. She told me the only picker is at lunch, this is after I told them I will be back in an hour and the home I was finishing was going on the market tomorrow. In the future, I will just go to supply houses where they bend over backwards for there customers. A note to the district manager, it is obvious that the GM is running a skeleton staff and staffing low earning poor performers so he can get his P&L bonus. I think you are past due restructuring this store starting from the top. I understand the million dollars I have spent at your store is not much in your gross margins, but it is a lot to me and where I decide to do business. As the old saying goes, if one customer is complaining, many more are not and just not coming back.
