The staff is NOT friendly. Borderline rude, even when you’re nice to them, it makes me dread having to get my prescriptions. I was out of my medication for almost four days because they got the script but didn’t fill it til I called then showed up and it still wasn’t filled. This has to be one of the worst pharmacies

Chirag and his staff are AMAZING!! They remember medical plans, vaccine info, and special requests. It's like living in a small town with a small town pharmacist!!! I'm so glad we switched from Kroger!

I recently had a very concerning experience at this location. I walked up to the prescription pick up window inside the store and before I could say anything, the pharmacist informed me that their system was down and they weren’t able to give people their medications. I was shocked, and I asked at what point the system might be back up and she said she didn’t know, they had been down for about an hour and a half already. She made it seem like she didn’t expect the system to come back on that day. I became increasingly concerned because I ran out of pills and was expecting to be able to pick them up for that night. I told her this, and she told me very rudely she was sorry there was nothing she could do, and I could try to come back at 8 before they closed (it was about 7 at the time). I left completely upset and bewildered that I couldn’t get my medication. Beyond that, I’m more surprised the pharmacist did nothing to help me! To be fair, the medication I take isn’t as urgent as others, but I was never asked what medication I was taking. I wasn’t instructed what to do in case I needed to get my medication immediately. I could tell she was annoyed that I was upset and I was repeatedly told there was nothing they could do. They seemed more concerned with going home on time at 8 than getting their customers the medications they depend on. I’m extremely disappointed. I truly expected more sympathy from a medical professional in a situation such as this and I was treated like I was being a pushy customer instead of a worried patient. I shop at Giant Eagle all the time for groceries and have had extremely positive experiences with everyone else I have come into contact with. I can say I will be looking for a new pharmacy, and specifically a new pharmacist.

Horrible customer service. Had to use a self serve checkout because that's all that was open. Waited over 10 minutes for someone to check my ID to purchase alcohol. Had to go to wander the store to find someone. I've had better service at Walmart.

Cashiers act like they can't hear you . Double rang up $6 and when I asked to take it off he said no it's a hassle.

This is a solid spot for grocery shopping. It's probably my favorite grocery store in the area. It's clean, tons of parking, carts are well maintained (and actually sanitized - they have people wiping carts), it has a Starbucks (always a plus), you can mix and match your own beer 6-pack (cool), stuff is always in stock, and they usually have the fancy cheeses that the other grocery stores don't have (major plus). Also, the layout of this giant Eagle just makes sense. Some of the other giant eagles in the area have a weird and nonsensical layout. This one is great.

Giant Eagle on Britton Parkway in Hilliard is being reviewed for its home-delivery service. During the month of January 2023, I exclusively used Giant Eagle's delivery services due to personal surgery. Excellent service. They use a date/time system that came off without a hitch. Name the Day. Name the window of Time. Giant Eagle made it happen. And to add a cherry on top, their personal shopper's would TEXT to suggest different products if the choices I made were out of stock and unavailable. Sweetness! I never received an error in product selections; pricing was fair. Heck, I even tipped because of Giant Eagle services being good. Can't discuss the in-store model but what GIant Eagle has done post-Covid is great. Thanks, G.E.

Absolutely the best staff. Chirag (spelling?) and Laura have always been amazing. The last 3 years have been rough on some of the supplies I've needed for medication. These two have never let me down. Keep taking good care of the staff or whatever keeps these two around.

I really like this grocery store. Its always clean and always stocked. I prefer them over Kroger. It's just a nicer shopping experience. Now they have Starbucks and their baristas are actually nice. The baristas at Kroger seem to hate their life. They always look angry.

This pharmacy is ok. They lost my insurance information although I had given it to them previously. Then put me on a discount plan without my approval.I pick up scripts which are 15-20 bucks so I don’t even consider thinking anything about it. Fill an albuterol it’s 50 bucks. Thinking it’s for two inhalers and I haven’t met my deductible I don’t think twice in the drive through. Turns out it’s for one inhaler and magically they don’t have my insurance. I asked them to rebill it which they attempted but then said my insurance doesn’t cover the generic manufacturer which just seems odd. Said there’s nothing they can do. Took them 3.5 hours just to call me. I assume they were dreading telling me this.They’re nice and all but when they make a mistake there’s nothing other than a sorry. I’ll go elsewhere in the future.

The pharmacy needs to get it together. I call in a perscription and the next day it still is not filled. If you call in a perscription, it should be filled within 2 to 4 hours. If that time frame can not be met call the customer and let them know. It this problem keeps up, will go somewhere else that can get perscriptions filled that day.

I really enjoy going to this Giant Eagle when I have more time too. Their shelves are always stocked and the space is always very clean especially during the pandemic. I recommend going during off hours as it tends to get crowded.
