Sales rep was new and didn’t know how to program gift card. That’s fine. Manager comes over and says I was charged once after trying 2 different gift cards. I explained the receipt was already printed for first card. Instead of correcting the issue right there he said I have to come back to get a refund after it hits my bank account.EDIT: After multiple trips the issue was resolved so I increased my rating.

I ordered some blue Christmas lights online and when I picked them up it was quick and the cashier Karen was friendly. She offered my two year old a bag of popcorn and we walked around. There were friendly employees who asked if I needed help, nice store and good prices.

An employee welcomed me to "an adult toy store." And I must say, in comparison to hardware stores of old, that everything was very clean, neat, brightly lit and well displayed as well as fairly high-priced.

Elderly woman much more interested in meaningless chit chat and self validation than doing her job of quick customer service. Ace Hardware is a great store but this particular cashier doesn’t know her job. I also believe I was over charged but going back for 1.50 wasn’t worth it to me.

Had such a positive experience visiting this ACE location! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about our questions and projects.We also purchased a Traeger and cannot say enough nice things about Mike! He was super knowledgeable about the product and helped us decide between two models. He also told us about the free assembly option with ACE that we didn’t know about and he got it to us (and personally delivered it!!) ahead of the timeline we were expecting so we had the weekend to grill!Great customer service all around and as someone who is super overwhelmed by hardware stores, I look forward to visiting ACE for future projects — I know I’ll be taken care of!

Brought an old screen in my husband said the screen was slightly too big. Had him take measurements ended up with the screens that were way too big. Common sense says you would look at the old screen and compare but not this place. We brought back the old screens got new ones which work but honestly are poor quality as there was a rip in one corner. I called back about the fact that I had to pay for four screens. We never got the ones back. Was told by lazy non action taking manager he had to talk to the screen guy. Do you think I received a phone call a week later nope. The second set of screens cost more than the first set and they were smaller. Literally the worst place you could go for screens. If you want to waste money and deal with people who don't want to help you.

I purchased a Traegar Grill online and the website said it would be delivered on Thursday. An employee from this store called to tell me that was not possible, and the grill would be delivered on Friday. He said there's nothing he can do about "the Ace website." Fix this process. I would have purchased the grill from somewhere else had I known the delivery date I wanted was not possible.
