Their employees have no knowledge on work boots. It’s a nice store, but I noticed on some of their work boots There overpriced. There’s no customer service, except they just stand behind the counter and smile. ? If you want Real customer service on boots drive to Columbus

Chantell, or maybe Chantel.. (can’t remember the spelling, sorry ma’am!) and the owner whose name I did not catch, helped make successful a work boot return. The return I had dubbed impossible, was an our hase over 2 months old and I’d not kept the receipt. The store in Ontario i’d bought the boots at had entered in my points reward information incorrect. Chantel(ll) quickly found the issue and identified the purchase. The owner, informed me of the warranty and return service offered. They furthermore educated me on some extra boot care that in turn should make a pair of boots longevity increase tenfold. On top of their prompt knowledge of problem and solution, the store was decent sized, spiffy and tidy, with a touch of southern hospitality. The whole experience made me feel right at home, being from TX. Thanks y’all! Take care.

This place has numerous options for shoes and clothing, and great workers who are knowledgeable and helpful. I really liked this place and will continue to shop there!

This is a very large store! It is the biggest Boot Barn I have seen!
They had limited boots in the upper sizes (men's 14 and 15), but I was delighted to find the perfect pair of Cody James in size 14! They have hundreds of sizes 13 and smaller! I had a good experience shopping here. I will be back!

Went recently to check the place out and was pleasantly surprised! Store was super clean, organized, and had extremely kind and attentive staff!

Went to the new store opening today and it was great to see so many active parts of our community in one place especially in that area where we haven’t had a new store in a while! My associates and I did get some weird vibes in this store though not just with the customers but the staff as well.
Firstly, very limited size 11.5 in men’s boots which was a little shocking when we saw how many other options in smaller shoe sizes they had.
From the workers we were getting some very weird stares from the two ladies up front before we walked in and got a very odd comment from Jacob an employee at the store who said “it is an acquired taste” when asking about snake skin boots which we felt to not only be belittling but rude as well. I truly do believe we got this response out of him because we were black people and most likely the first black people in this store. The other customers in the store did give us weird stares like we weren’t supposed to be here which felt very strange and even more strange when you consider our family has been here for the last 25 years so seeing these attitudes and micro aggressions in 2024 in a brand new store in my area is so heart breaking to see. Especially when you have customers who are considering spending money here! We didn’t feel comfortable shopping here at all because of the environment that was created.
When I look into the future I hope to still see this store in general but with better business & socialization practices as well.
Edit: I did want to add to my post a little more now that the dust has settled a bit. My father who we went in the store with has had a stroke and we just wanted to get him some nice boots so to see a stroke patient be spoken to like this and looked at like this when his daughter is taking him just to get some boots is very saddening. I hate that we did not feel welcomed here but on the part of the store owner, there’s still issues here. As customers and people who have heavy ties in this community, I left this review as a way to let the store owner or partners know what our experience was and the lack of communication from the store owner is truly disappointing and bad business practice. As a businessperson who has customers (4 of us to be exact) telling you we feel racist intent in your store and with your employees who are represent your store yet nothing about that moves you to issue an apology or correct Jacob or another staff member tells me this business owner just does not seem to care about the experience people of color have in the store. Maybe you weren’t expecting people of color to enter your store or live around here but we do and we have for a while. I would have love an apology from the store owner about our experiences when the time permitted but since we are now past that my review will stand here and on tiktok for those interested about our experience. I really expected better from this store that is brand new to our community but instead of me bragging about the new store in our community I’ve only been warning other people about the racist undertones of this store, it’s employees and our voices not being heard or respected.

The team at Boot Barn were very helpful. Store was very spacious, clean and organized. Steven and Jacob were very helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Very excited to go back and purchase more products.
