At the recent passing of my husband Terry. I found that working with Oberlin-Turnbull funeral home to be a first-class experience. Everyone on the staff is genuinely kind and caring. Our experience has left us full of gratitude and grateful hearts for the care we received. My family and I would recommend this establishment to anyone who has lost a loved one.

Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home was wonderful to work with during the sudden loss of my father. Every single person on their staff were kind, caring and compassionate. They walked with us through each step of the planning from writing the obituary, to buying the plot, to organizing the visitation and planning the funeral with our church. They gave us suggestions on how to coordinate the visitation and funeral with family members and friends coming from several different towns/states. I loved that we were able to hand them photos and digital files and they turned it into an amazing, personalized video to be shown. Oberlin-Turnbull took away all of the worry so that we could focus on each other and celebrate my father's life.

Everyone was very caring and walked us through what we needed to do and what our options were. They didn’t try to upsell us. They have been in touch to see how we’re doing even a month after the funeral.

My dad past away this past June. Caleb was very thorough and thoughtful from start to finish. Help my wife and I set everything up as far as what we wanted to do with my dad. Furnished all the resources and was up front about everything. And no hidden cost. He was very good with our emotions in our time of need.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful and because I was from out of town, they took care of the cremation of my mother quickly. I’m very grateful and happy with the way they handled everything with my mother.

They were very respectful with the care of my sister from the start. They made sure every step that they were taking with the procedures, and helping us understand what they were going to be doing. They were very kind from the start to the finish and beyond. We thank you all for taking such wonderful care of our loved one.

Oberlin-Turnbull was absolutely the best in taking care of all our needs when my mom passed away. Everyone was so caring and genuine. They certainly helped us get thru this very hard time much easier than we could ever have asked for. We are so very grateful for everyone there who had a part in helping our whole family.

We had Oberlin -Turnbull help us during the recent passing of our Mom. Her wishes were to be cremated so that is what we did. I can’t say enough about how wonderful, caring, and kind they are. It did not matter if we were talking to the director or the person who came to the hospital for her, we always felt they put our needs first. It is such a hard and sad time and for each step we were guided, respected, and listened to. They spent time to find out what she was like and did a wonderful obituary. They have even done follow up calls to check on us. We are blessed to have had them as our provider for her services and I would definitely recommend them during those difficult times.

When my mom passed away, they were right there. They were patient and kind and I felt like I knew them forever. They made planning the service easy and they were available when we had questions. I would recommend them to any family in this situation.

Our Oberlin -Turnbull services began with pre-planning a funeral for my mother. Josh walked my husband and I thru with caring expertise and compassion . My mother passed away a short few weeks later and the entire staff were truly God sent. From gathering Moms earthly body , guiding us thru complex paperwork and making visitation and funeral arrangements go so smoothly, we were very blessed with their professional care. Such competent,but compassionate care from the entire staff was a ministry to our family thru a time of sorrow.
