Went in to the store to buy a game. Found a copy of Star Ocean The Second Story R for the Nintendo Switch on the shelf. I was told that the game is not in stock nor was it at any of the other stores. When I asked why the box is on the shelf if the game is not available, I was told that the publishers pay them put the empty boxes on the shelf. This type of practice is unacceptable. If you want to know why the game industry is going digital, this is why. Its also why people choose to buy online at and at retailers other than Gamestop. Other stores actually stock games in their stores.

Great place to find all the new gaming gadgets and of course video games very good selection of new and used games and gaming accessories. The customer service is great and most employees are knowledgeable if you have questions or are looking for certain things

My experience was ok I went to Heath and Newark I don’t recommend going into a GameStop in 2023 anymore realizing it’s easier and cheaper just to buy games online I’ve been buying games from this place for years and now it just feels like a waste to me I’ll take my money and time elsewhere.
