Chase just told me they can't take a $500 CASH payment to their credit card. They said that because it's my husband and not me making the CASH PAYMENT, they wont take it. What the heck! They won't accept cash payments but will happily charge me daily interest until I pay them with something other than cash and its me, not him. This rating is for the policy that apparently Chase has and it's so stupid. I'm putting tge negative rating on this branch because nothing was done to try to hrlp me understand. If it can't be broken, help me understand. There was no effort to make an exception for me or to verify anything. Or to find a way to make it work, I mean I AM CALLING about it, so they know a payment is going to be made. Even as I write this, I can't believe i'm saying that they won't take cash payment because it's not from the owner, it's the spouse, making the payment. so none of this makes sense to me. ITS THESE UNEXPLAINABLE POLICYS WHY YOU SHOULD THINK TWICE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I went to the bank ( Hartville) today 10/19/23 around 2:40 pm the lady at the window was extremely rude , I asked her in a very polite way if she please could write the amount that I needed to withdraw so I would not make a mistake, she pointed the paper in a demanding and particularly rude manner and told me to sing it first and then she will do it , I could feel how superior she felt over me, it almost made me cry, I will try to avoid coming back to this branch.

The entire staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Started banking with them about 15 years ago after a manager approached me while I was cashing a check from someone.It has been a great experience overall for both my personal and business!

Never Never Never Bank here keep under your mattress first ! Very Very Very rude employees. Never willing to help always busy but no one in branch . Banked here for nearly 20 years .

I brought my daughter in to open an account for her new job. They told us we needed an appointment to open one in person and should open the account online. We were made to feel like we were a bother being there. So we went home to open the account, only to find out we still couldn’t without being in a branch. The most aggravating part? There is nowhere that says an appointment is needed or how to set one up.

The staff at the Hartville Chase Bank have taken excellent care of my personal and business banking needs for several years. Everyone at this branch has been courteous, helpful and knowledgable. I really appreciate the service they provide. I am a happy customer.
