My insurance changed and I was anxious about going to a new office. I'd been happ with my previous eye care professional and didn't think I'd get the same level of care. Then a friend recommended the myeyedr office in Hamilton. My friend was so right! I couldn't have been more impressed! Rachel did an excellent job explaining and executing the pre-tests! Dr. Reffner also explained everything she did with my care but she went steps further to look into solutions to help me with other eye related concerns. She was wonderful! Finally, Holly, was amazing at offering helpful, practical solutions for selecting the best fit for glasses. But she also went above in looking into my insurance to find the best financial solutions. She really knows what she's doing! I couldn't be happier with the entire experience!

This happened in the Middletown office. I reside on the west side and they had nothing open but they told me that there were openings in the midd office. So I drove the 20+ miles and got the exam and they basically rushed me out of the office (of course they were Vera Bradley designer). Well a week or so passed by and as I was sitting in a meeting in Fairfield I got a text stating that my glasses were ready (Wednesday) so I drive at least 25 miles to get to the office only to find that they were closed on wed. I wish absolutely livid. I called headquarters and spoke to I believe the son of the owner. My glasses were over 600$ and thank goodness I have wonderful insurance. So after I calmed down, I went all the way back home to the west side of Hamilton. When I returned to pu my glasses the receptionist asked me what I wanted and I said “duh I want my glasses you dimwit”. She hands me my glasses and says ty. Not one person tried them on me to see if they were too tight, too loose, etc. I have nvr seen an optometrist’s office treat patients that way and you can best believe that I WILL NEVER RETURN NOR WILL I EVER REFER FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO THIS PATHETIC BUSINESS!!!. Wonderful experience. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed with smiling faces. My appointment was right on time. The whole staff was wonderful to work with and so friendly. Didn't feel rushed at all and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend.

Found the glasses I wanted very quickly. They introduced me to a new brand of 30 day contact,which are way more comfortable than my old brand and cheaper! Very thorough eye exam, which very important for diabetics and some other health issues. They DID NOT TRY to over sell me on anything. Very please. Definitely recommend and I will continue to buy my Glasses and Contact! ☆☆☆☆☆

Very nice people at the desk but I scheduled an appointment on their website and when I arrived it didn’t show I had one now I have to wait another month before I can get in.

Got a random bill months after I paid my exam, contacts & glasses in full during my appointment. I’ve asked what the bill is for and I’ve gotten no answer! Feel like I’m getting rung dry from this place. I won’t go back!!!!

They are very professional and helpful. They get pretty busy though, and I had to leave a message but never a callback. Three days later I called and got someone live and they were able to help me out.

Do not go to the MyEyeDr in Hamilton. I had scheduled an eye exam for an urgent matter (vision issue after trauma to the eye) online. I received a call stating that there was an error in the computer system and I would have to reschedule. I explained my urgent situation to the receptionist and Dr. Reffner still refused to squeeze me in. There is no compassion at this office and if you ever have an actual issue, you can never be seen. The last time this happened, it was my prior eye doctor that I hadn’t seen in over 10 years due to moving away that still squeezed me in to see me and I ended up needing surgery. So there has been two times this office has failed a patient. I don’t know how many times I sacrificed my time for a patient in need. That’s what healthcare is.

Been trying to get an appointment for over two months and nothing ever available. Of course they keep sending me emails and texts wanting me to come in. After four years with this office, I guess it’s time to start looking at other practices as an option. I don’t feel like my business is valued.

Eye exam was great and people are friendly and polite. My issue is I have been waiting 6 weeks on my glasses. When it was suppose to be 2 weeks. First time they had to remake them due to scratch on lens. Second time they cut lenses to small for the frames. Now they arrived but frame is cracked. Now waiting a fourth time, six weeks and still waiting on my glasses is not acceptable.

Slow slow, slow service, I have never been to a slower eye place in my life. Over an hour and a half, just for the appointment and ordering the glasses, not to mention, was 25 minutes late to be called back. This should be a 30-minute ish ordeal, I know because I have been wearing glasses for 30 years.
