Let me tell you, this is THE BEST Dollar General I have been to, specifically in terms of customer service. I do the whole digital couponing thing, and that takes me to various Dollar Generals in my area to ensure they have what I need in stock. I am one of those people who if the coupon doesn’t work, I don’t generally fight about it, because 99% it’s due to the coupon itself and not the employee or the system. HOWEVER!! The employees here are more than helpful in making sure that you get the most bang for your buck and ensure that you’re getting your coupons to work. They understand how much time it takes to put in the effort looking up the deals and doing the shopping. Shoutout to Kelly, who specifically helped me out today ? - I know that $9 is only $9 but when you do this every week that adds up quickly. This has for sure become my primary store, and highly encourage others to check it out.

Bought a cell phone that wouldn't work with my Sims card, tried returning, she said they did not sell that phone. I had everything needed to return and it was a no go. I took it to my town dollar general (Oxford) and Anna is an angel. Need better employees!

They chose when they want to close whether it's at 2 pm 4 pm 5 pm 6 pm . And it says on the door and online that they are open untill 9pm. maybe dg should update there time and stick by a set time and not pick when they want to work. This store needs some professionalism.

The staff at this particular store are super friendly and helpful. The store is well organized and well stocked. They greet you when you come in and check out is quick.

WOW! As a previous Store Manager (for other companies) I was blown away when I walked into my local Dollar General today. I was close by and just needed a bag of cat food for the outdoor neighborhood cats. This store is an absolute train wreck with no survivors. Filthy floors, so many empty shelves or items just thrown everywhere on the existing product shelves. My biggest surprise was when I did locate the pet food aisle, there was literally only 6 large bags of cat food. I'm talking NOTHING in roughly 32' of shelving run. ? I started looking at endcaps to see if there was anything there. No, nothing! I go up to the registers to ask if it may be in the back waiting to be desperately stocked. The young cashier replied that they had not received a truck in over a month. She sadly apologized and went on to say that customers had been quite nasty lately because they were out of product. Please tell me how can you expect to keep employees when they have to deal with this environment, knowing every day that they come in to work what they are facing. So very sad. This store used to be one of the cleanest and most organized in the area. Now it is so neglected that it will take some major dedication and man hours to get it fixed. Based on my personal experience today and my managerial background, I now understand why Dollar General always has job listings. Who wants to work in that environment? Even if you went in every day with a positive outlook, you would have your soul sucked out before noon. I feel horrible for these employees, I would never allow my employees to have to deal with this. Disturbing to say the least. If the store manager can't get the product, and clean and organize the store, then what about the district manager? Doesn't he/she have any pull? This Dollar General is clean.Bu5 there is one employee that work evening shift and he is very rude. He over charged my husband and didn't give him a receipt and my husband didn't even come outta store he turned around and told him that he owed him or money back . And the chubby dark headed cashier told him without a receipt I can't help you and he said plus we're closing. What BS was that.FYI So people if you ever go to this Dollar General make sure you ask for a receipt.
