Leaving 5 stars for the location listed on the address but the review is for the highland location - the bald man at highland shouldn’t have taken this job if he hates kids so much. He’s rude and always in a bad mood, I watched the other man in charge tell a child he could have something then the bald man ran over and snatched it from him. The kid said the other man told him he could have it and he said “well if that’s tthe he then you can get it tomorrow when mrs. Christy is here”. Then watched him yell at another kid to sit down. Idk what I thought but this is not how I imagined the boys and girls club to be and the teacher last year was a lot more pleasant. my nephew said it’s very different from last year and he hates going to boys and girls club this year and now I see why .

when I was 14 through 16 I worked as a volunteer in the snack bar with the boys and girls club East avenue. now I'm 44 and still every time I drive by that location I'm flooded with reminders of joyous children smiles at work basketball gymnastics just great things for children who would probably end up on the streets. I really appreciate everything is avoiding Girls Club has to offer for a community.
