In short, with the generous return policies of other retailers such as Costco and even Amazon, I will no longer consider purchasing from Best Buy after this experience. My husband went into the store to purchase equipment for the new internet we were having installed. We previously rented from the internet provider, so we wanted to ask at Best Buy to make sure we were getting the appropriate equipment. The employee recommended a modem, which we purchased for almost $200. It took about 3 weeks to get the appointment for the new internet to be installed, and when the installer came, he said that the equipment we purchased would not work. It was still unopened and the box was sealed with plastic. We figured we wouldn't have a problem returning because of this and that the purchase was made because of an error on the part of the employee. The manager insisted that because we were out of the very limited 15 day return window, they could only offer a store credit. This is extremely frustrating because I do not want a store credit, I want my money back. I have nothing that I want to purchase at Best Buy, and need that money back in our pockets, not sitting on some gift card I don't need. I proceeded to call Best Buy (you cannot call the store or reach a store manager. The number takes you to "corporate", which is a call center outsourced to another country), I tried the chat option, and I tried to talk to the store manager in person again. The chat and phone options all said the manager should be able to issue the credit, but in store, I was told that corporate gets mad at them if they do that. I've hit a wall and I know it is on purpose. I will not shop at a place where their version of customer service is to give the customer the run around until they give up. As I stated above, I have been met at other retail locations with much more generous and understanding return policies and customer service. I do not recommend buying anything here. Things are not made as well as they used to be, so always check return policies first!

We did not receive excellent customer service. Some of the geek squad techs were rude and inconsiderate. We came in and purchased a new phone around 11am, left around 1pm.

I really hate giving out negative remarks especially when I have loved the store for years. However, this particular location is absolutely horrible. Either no one works there anymore, I appear to be invisible, or they are extremely busy somewhere in the back?? I went in two days straight between 1&3 and I looked around and kept waiting and waiting for assistance to no avail. I honestly could’ve walked out of the store robbing them blind if I wanted to. I have been going to best buy for the last 20 years whenever I wanted to switch cell phone service or purchase a new computer but they don’t need my money I dont guess?

Understaffed. Had to wait 30 minutes to get assistance to buy a TV that I had already picked out. No sales help needed.

This location has been going downhill for a long time. There are usually plenty of employees working, but good luck getting any of them to assist you. I’ve come in money in hand, ready to buy items that said they were in stock. Just to have them say they can’t find it. When the manager is there she tries to keep order. She even led a search party for the smoke detector that they tried to give up looking for (it was behind another product where it shouldn’t be). But this location is a mess. Your lack of organization and your inability to serve the customer is going to be your demise. Close this location down already. I don’t see Best Buy lasting 5 more years.

I will never purchase another thing from Best Buy. After exchanging TWO tv’s (both screens shattered on the same side,) the employee had the nerve to act like we were the reason they were both broken… even though the 3rd one was fine. Terrible customer service in store and via the Geek Squad number.

Kinda poor selection. Smaller store compared to others. Not many employees willing to help.

Baaaaaaaaad customer service. They will leave you high and dry, and sell you things that you don’t need.

I went in to trade a couple devices in and buy some headphones. Fredy did my trade in, and even though I entered one of my devices incorrectly online and there were some technical issues with the register he was so patient and helpful and apologetic about how long it was taking, even though it wasn't his fault. Keith checked me out and he was just as friendly and cheerful. I interacted with a couple other employees and all of them were so happy to help me and so friendly. I've been here a couple times and the employees have always been this way.
Other than the technical issues and my mistake, trading in my devices was really easy and painless. It was also easy to find what I wanted to buy and everything was very clearly labeled, plus there's enough employees around that it's always easy to find someone to help. I really like that they don't understaff like a lot of other stores do! It means a lot to me as a customer that employees are treated well.
