Used car sales department customer service is questionable. Day of sale everyone is your best friend. When issues arise they dodge calls and ignore you. I had an issue seven weeks after purchase. They did nothing to make it right. Will definitely look elsewhere in the future.

Good luck if you have a legitimate issue at any Ricart facility... go ahead and escalate it all the way to Lynne DeWitt, with Consumer and Community Affairs... nothing will be done. They were more concerned with standing behind an employee who was clearly in the wrong than standing up for a repeat customer who takes all their vehicles to Ricart. I would advise never stepping in a Ricart facility.

My son made his first vehicle purchase from Ricart. He selected a CERTIFIED vehicle boasting a 130+ point inspection. Within 24 hours he was having issues with wheel bearings. Ricart refused to fix them. While repairing his wheel bearings he discovered it needed brakes. How is a CERTIFIED vehicle sold in this condition?? Furthermore, how does the dealership not back their vehicles they deem CERTIFIED when issues arrive within 24 hours?! Ridiculous to certify and therefore mark up the market value then not back the CERTIFICATION. Very disappointed! Now we are 30 days out and Ricart has not sent his title so he can't register his truck! What a mess of a nightmare that could have been avoided with basic customer service and competency!
Do not recommend this business!

Edit: And they're still lying about unnecessary needed work. Told me I need new brakes and rotors. Nice try. I had my brakes and rotors done at 40k miles so it's highly unlikely they need to be replaced at 51K miles. I will be having them checked by another shop.
Friendly customer service. However, be very mindful of their service department because they will try to get you to pay for things you don't need. This has now happened to me on multiple occasions. Last year they informed me I needed new tires. My tires were two months old and purchased brand new. This year they informed me that I needed new brakes and rotors even though I just had them done May 2023. So not even a year.

Update: it has been months since I was told a manager would contact me. I have not received any type of correspondence from Ricart since my original review.
I went to Ricart a total of five times during the process of purchasing my current vehicle. Out of those times, I only had positive interactions with 3 people: Abdoulaye in sales, Nate in finance, and Serena the cashier.
Every time I left the lot, I felt confused and irritated. I had multiple condescending conversations with staff, mainly with Aaron in sales and Michelle in finance. I should only give 1 star but because Nate and Serena were so great, I threw in one extra. I hope I start to lose my memories related to this experience soon so I can stop having a visceral reaction to the name "Ricart".

My team that worked with me was excellent. Dez Walker pulled through for me when I had given up hope. Matt then came along and sealed & finalized everything and handed me my keys. You guys were amazing from beginning to end. Both of you showed excellent customer service, just amazing….Thank you!!!!!!!!!! I am enjoying my 2016 Hyundai Tucson

Service Dept is not to be trusted...apparently.
I took advantage of their pickup service to have a routine oil change & rotation done. Sold me an alignment that turned out to be unnecessary. When I called, the service guy couldn't be bothered to return my call. He instead sent me a text the next morning explaining the alignment. No documentation was provided showing the service, just a $150 charge on the bill. I got my car back & there is no indication of uneven wear.

We called ahead and then drove two hours to this dealership and arrived an hour prior to the close of business. We test drove the vehicle and offered to put down a good faith payment in order to hold it since the bank was closed and the dealership was also closing. They declined the payment stating they don't take holds. As a result, we drove two hours home and got up bright and early to secure the deal. We called at 10am as soon as they opened. Our banker and Greg (salesman) spoke and processed all the paperwork for the purchase of the vehicle. Greg said the car was ready for pick up and he was pulling the keys from the floor. We asked if we could pick it up tomorrow and was told yes. A few hoirs later, we received a call stating the car was sold to someone else. First we were told it was sold online the night prior, then we were told someone came in and purchased it at 10am today, then we were told that is was being shipped to Newark, then we were told the deal was not final and there was still a chance we could come pick it up. Greg said he was going to call in an hour but we never heard from him again. The manager told me he would call back in 20 minutes but didn't. We called and asked for Greg and was told he was selling a car then told he left for the day. We called and talked to the manager and he said the car was picked up by the buyer a little bit ago. My son's first payment for the loan is due on September 21st. The contract was final between this dealership and the bank at 10:15am. Our banker advised that as far as they are concerned this vehicle is in contract based on the documents completed between them and the dealership. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever encountered. Red flag #1 should have been that we stood on the lot next to the car for 15 minutes or more while employees walked past us and never acknowledged us. We had to finally ask for assistance. Oddly enough that car is still listed for sale on the website. DO NOT GO HERE! I will be seeking legal counsel tomorrow as the loan is already done and we have no car.

Took my car in because it started grinding and shifting hard when put into drive or reverse. I'm under warranty supposed to get a rental they held my car for 5 days no rental did an alignment I told them NOT TO DO! Charged me 166 dollars for it and finally when my car was done they sent an Uber to get me and there's literally no difference in my car. They did absolutely nothing to fix the problem! I showed them before I left there service center and they said that's the brakes making that noise. Seriously??? It wasn't making that noise 8 days ago or shifting hard. My warranty expires on August 2nd so I'm sure I'm going to end up having to pay out of pocket for this problem when it finally breaks all the way.
I will never buy another car from Ricart and I definitely do not recommend this dealership to anyone. I've only put 5000 miles on my car.
Monday July 8th.
To your reply asking what brand I'm under I have a 2019 Ford Edge Titanium. I'm still under the factory warranty at the moment but that ends in about 2 weeks. I don't understand what you mean by what brand am I under? And my name is right at the top of the review so you could've easily looked up my account and figured out exactly what brand I'm under and what happened at my appointment. Also nothing has been added to my Ford pass account about this service. I definitely feel that I'm entitled to a refund for the alignment that was done and to have my car fixed right instead of just sending me on my way. Your team member literally called me and asked if I would like an alignment and I told them NO and when I got there to pick up my car I was charged for an alignment. Horrible customer service!

Just bought a 2021 Dodge Ram - The customer service was absolutely top notch!! My sales "dude" was Noah Stein and over a 4 month search through many Columbus dealerships, he stood out among all salespeople, he then handed me off to Nate (hoping that is the correct name) who took care of the financial department- was the perfect fit with Noah as both had great customer service and incredible personalities -
Ricart should be extremely proud of both these employees - Thank you so much for making a daunting experience a great one -

I dropped my SUV off to get serviced, I received at 1038 informing that my vehicle was ready for pick up. I arrived to pick up my vehicle, walked in to the area where the computers are located and my presence wasn’t even acknowledged. There were 5 workers standing and sitting at their computers, none of which were assisting a customer. I stood there for 6 minutes and not a single one of them acknowledged my presence. A young lady walked in with a customer and was about to walk away when she was done. I called out to her and explained to her that I have been standing there and no one has assisted or acknowledged me. She proceeded to ask me how she could help. Then I had to wait another 20 minutes for my car to be brought around to me. I have been a customer with Ricart 2016 and I have experienced a few minor issues but nothing ever turned me off as much as this. When a customer walks in to an establishment someone should at minimum acknowledge their presence and inform them that someone will assist them shortly. I am very disappointed in the lack of courtesy and professionalism Ricart.

Absolutely terrible experience with Ricart. Avoid this place at all cost and save yourself the stress and money. I bought a 2016 jeep Cherokee and 5 weeks later it was in the shop for a $4,000 repair of the rear differential. Got it repaired and a few days later the front differential explodes. Now I’m looking at a total of $14,000+ in repairs for a car worth about half that. It turns out the likely cause for these issues was a drive shaft that has been replaced in the past few months (junk yard serial numbers still fresh) that is not meant for this model of jeep. THEY DID A POOR INSPECTION and did not catch this issue. They sold the car to me with a clean car fax report ?. My mechanic said “there’s no way whatever dealer you got this from didn’t see this in their inspection”. So either they knew about it and did nothing or they are terrible at inspecting their cars before selling. Either way they don’t actually care about their customers or want to do good business. They should want to make this right but they have no interest in doing so. Unfortunately for them I can reach hundreds of thousands of people on social media and can save a lot of people the stress of dealing with this place ? “RICART, WE’RE STEALIN”
