- o stars is what this company deserves. Store manager Ron from the Grove city location has to be the worst person I have ever been in contact with. This all started when I placed a sod & mulch order online, I had it scheduled for drop off for July 4, there online calendar was open. On the 4th I called to inquire on the time that my items would be delivered. I was told that my items were not going to be delivered at all because they were not cutting or delivering on the 4th,5th or 6th. At that point I was concerned, I had my project scheduled with the landscapers. Long story short they delivered the mulch ONLY and that was after speaking to ALOT of people. The SOD was scheduled for the 7th, I went into the Grove city location, to pick up some missing mulch from the delivery, that's when I spoke to Allen who seemed like a nice person. While I was there he made some phone calls and took me to the back to load up my missing mulch. He told me that he couldn't understand why they didn't delivered the SOD because they already had it cut and the 2 pallets were on the truck. Then he made some phone calls and told me that different offices from Ohio Mulch had my order but he was going to make sure that everything went well on my next delivery., that I would have my SOD first thing Monday morning. While I was there I went ahead and asked him about there soil for the SOD, he told me that he had great soil, specifically for SOD and it was great. I went ahead and placed the order with him in the store and paid the invoice that they sent me online. Later on in the day it was on my mind about receiving SOD that had been cut and on a truck so I called the other location that supposedly had my SOD. I wasn't able to get ahold of anybody. On Monday the 7th it was 9am, landscapers were at my house and I had NOT received my order. I called the Grove city location and got no response, I called Winchester Pike, they told me that they did not have my order, They gave me another location. At that point I decided to call there cooperate office which it seems to be a call center. At that time I was told my delivery would be made around noon, noon came around, NO DELIVERY. I called again and I was told between 2-3pm. At last the SOD and soil arrived at my home. This is the worst part of this...The DRIVER told me that the Sod had been on a truck since before the holiday, the Sod was DRY, it had patches of brown all over because of the amount of heat that we have had. The soil that he brought, was NOT the soil that was sold to me. The soil that he had clearly stated on the bag, trees, shrubs and flower beds. I told him that I didn't want burnt up SOD or the incorrect soil. I told him to take it back and bring me fresh SOD and the correct soil. At that point the driver told me that he could not take the SOD back because he would get in trouble with RON but he would take the soil back. He dropped off the SOD, took the soil back. About 20 mins later, Ron and driver were back at my house with the same soil. Ron was screaming, he was just not listening to anyone. There were 6 people at my home that witnessed this, including the landscapers and my daughters. The man was completely unhinged, He kept screaming that the SOD was fresh and that he was NOT taking the soil back no matter what. He told his driver to place the soil on the street, where there is a sign that says no parking. This pallet of soil was blocking any car turning onto my street. We all tried speaking to him, but he wouldn't listed to reason. I asked him politely to please remove the soil from the street, to keep the soil and the money. I was worried about the pallet causing an accident, We live in an HOA and we have rules.. Ron walked away, got in a long bed truck, put the truck in reverse and sped in reverse down the street like someone that was out of control. I tried resolving things by phone with Ron and corporate, it didn't work. I called the police, filed a report and hired someone to haul away the soil and pallet off the street. Ron, You need

Worst “black” mulch bulk delivery I have ever had. Doesn’t compare to the bagged. All the color has faded in less than a month and be very careful as I found a used tampon in mine.

Its been a while between trips but we were not as satisfied this trip. We were not impressed with the stone selections, but we may have been there too early in the season for peak selections. Don't go with a specific idea. Look around and something might catch your eye.

Shawn was very helpful and patient through multiple visits and consultations for our project. I took multiple trips and price work ups before we could decide what we wanted and when we could have it delivered. With a lobby full of customers he made sure what we needed got taken care of. I would definitely consider ourselves more difficult customers and we changed things until it was what we wanted and we were happy. Thank you for your time and continued friendliness while we figured out the project.

I used to support this local business every year when we went to get our yearly mulch supply, but I doubt I'll be back again. I went to get some of the absolute black mulch, because the price online was cheaper than Home Depot and my wife and I were doing yard work the same day - However, once in the store they informed me that the price online was not going to be honored as they didn't have to, and that price was only for deliveries. The woman behind the counter didn't seem to care much about the inconvenience and offered no solutions except "place an online order for delivery another day."Needless to say, after this experience, my wife and I went straight to Home Depot because the price they had online was the same as in-store and actually cheaper than the Ohio Mulch in-store price..... I genuinely can't believe that a company would refuse to match their own online pricing in this day and age. As I stated before, I sincerely doubt I'll ever be back after this experience.
