Every single person I have come in contact with have been over the top nice and made me so comfortable. From the surgeon to the dietiticans, office staff, nurses, hospital staff all the place they referred me to have all been wonderful. They are absolutely amazing with all the information you need to make you very well prepared. I can't recommend enough how great of an experience this has been. Wish I could give 100 stars.

I hate to give a bad review because of one bad apple . Unfortunately it happens . I love this hospital well the primary and specialty care clinic . When I went to one of my check ups I normally feel comfortable. Unfortunately this time around wasn’t the case . A male doctor came in talking to me and I was not comfortable at all his energy and aura was off . He didn’t seem informed as he should asked me have I ever had surgery talking about the Linea nigra (the line that runs down a pregnant woman’s belly ). A gentleman came in the room to hear my babies heartbeat, and of course, my four-year-old was intrigued and wanted to hear it again, and he remarks they don’t pay me enough to do it more than once who says that to a child, she just wanted to hear the heartbeat again . Like I said, I’ve never had an issue with this location. All the women and the staff are always sweet they go above and beyond when I do bring my other children in they occupy them.

The WORST hospital I’ve ever been too. Had my first child there, night nurses ignored my concerns about my daughter and let her sit there with both lungs punctured due to a complication during birth. It wasn’t caught until the next morning during shift change and new nurses came in. Against better judgment I went back for my second pregnancy and just like my first experience, the communication between staff is AWFUL. I will not be getting any type of medical care from them ever again.

Stay away from this hospital period. The emergency room staff are so unprofessional and will not listen to a thing you are explaining to them. I have been here several times for different things and I never get help period. I've been seen at the primary care specialty clinic on 3rd floor also and seen a doctor name Silverman that never helped me and also lied to my face about serious things I had going on. These people will stereotype you and will not help you at all. These people don't even deserve 1star.

I have to advise everyone to stay away from this hospital. I've always heard that about Mt. Carmel from other people and wished I'd had listened before my husband went here...My husband checked into the ER about a week ago with chest pains and severe stomach pains. He told them this, but they still made him wait hours without checking him out. He ultimately wound up leaving to go get actual care from a different hospital system. Then, come to find out when we read over the notes on MyChart after the Mt. Carmel ER visit, they erroneously (and I'm sure on purpose, too) stated in the narrative of why he was there for the ER visit that he denied having chest pains. Even more, they put words in his mouth in the patient history section--adding things that he never said to them and using words that made him sound like an idiot and like the staff was not taking him or what he was saying to them seriously.I'm sure this hospital will be facing another big lawsuit due to it being at fault for a patient needlessly dying because of staff that don't care enough to take an accurate patient history or actually see patients who check in to their ER.When the bill comes from this facility, I will be fighting it, since my husband did not receive any care or service from this place and they severely messed up recording his reason for being there and his patient history--all things that are necessary to determine how quickly and what kind of care a patient should receive!

I need to start by thanking Mt Carmel for my mothers stellar care in the ICU and the step down the sitters and Dr. Keith and the other staff taking care of my mother. On the other note. My ex was terminated from the operating room for filming my 11 year old and was having an affair with his charge nurse for the past three years. Mt Carmel issued the statement that his actions did not reflect the ethics of Mt Carmel. When my mother had to have surgery I was a sobbing mess worried the woman who had the affair with him would be involved in her care. I was promised she was not. I believe them but heaven forbid if I was taken there and not able to speak for myself and needed surgery. As for the affair they seem to think this is part of their ethics. She retaliates against other nurses who disagree with her and her manager does nothing. I have spoken to leadership and I understand they can not share things with me that are sensitive. I requested they drug test her. (it never happened as far as I know) I know they were smoking marijuana and told him he was playing with fire. Mt Carmel has failed me in regards to their ethics and morals and integrity.Although outside of the operating room we have always received exceptional care their ethics seem leave a lot to be desired.Update: DON lied to me about staffing. Refused it seemed to even consider contacting the police to confirm the time line I told them about. My mother was then discharged with close to 30 lbs of fluid in her legs. Readmitted to east who stated she should not have been discharged. She could not walk when she was discharged. Did not manage the blood she was given that caused the overflow of fluid. Multiple units of blood btw. In their defense my mother insisted on going home. Two years ago I was in the ICU myself and septic at 42. My main symptom was skull cracking headaches. For 4 days I begged to see neuro Doctor wanted to call in everyone but neuro. Wanted to bring in gynecology. I asked to look at what? Hysterectomy completed 6 months prior. That day neuro, MRI next day and lumbar puncture. Headaches went away and discharged with no real diagnosis.

Only have one star because I couldn't leave zero and give review! DO NOT COME TO THIS HODPITAL!! The doctors are their only saving grace but they aren't good enough to make up for the antiquated processes, complete lack of customer service/common sense/any level of efficiency, drive, or desire to help anyone that makes up the rest of staff. Truly this lack luster group could have only been found pan handling in the worst parts of town!I repeat.. if you value your health, well being, time etc- this is DEFINITELY not the place for you!! WORST overall hospital I've EVER beenadmitted to! The E.R. to get into the E.R. is I'm a neck to neck tie with Riverside as the absolute worst? I don't understand the procedures they follow as it truly has to confused me how one ER. (Worthington Ohio Health) tells you you MUST HAVE emergency surgery by g.b. surgeon - they send you to mtgc you literally get left in waiting area for hours upon hours until there is no one left in waiting area but you and then you get the privilege of waiting at least another hour!! 0/5 stats is to good for this place!!

I am 26 weeks pregnant & fell down steps. I came in because I needed to make sure my baby was okay myself, never once did they listen to my baby or check my baby out. More worried about a bad batch of meth. The nurse was cussing and just truly unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I came into the ER with irregular heart beat. Only time I saw a nurse was to get a blood draw. They ran blood and took an xray. 3 hours later the dr came in and asked if I was feeling better, with no treatment. Told me I was dehydrated and to get water, assumed it was because I just took a trip and withheld my own fluid to not stop to use the restroom (who does that), told me theyd give me potassium and a referral. Half hour later nothing, took my own IV out and left while the nurses were hanging out talking and laughing at the station. This place is turning into the same joke that mt carmel west was.Update: theres all this info in mychart that they never did. Make sure to request a detailed bill for sure. No physical was done, they didnt ask me about my history.

Sat in the ED - not the two I associate with emergency room - from 3pm till after 8 the next morning. Once moved to a room noted many open rooms on the floor. Apparently not a room problem as a staffing problem. This leads to the next problem with this hospital. Tried to eat at 6 pm on a weekday in the hospital cafeteria, NOPE, closes at 2PM. How do families eat and stay close to their family? You at least has a cafeteria when you were on Broad Street.
