I have always loved this location and never really had a problem with finding what I need in the store but online is a different story, it will say they are out of stock on something but will have a full stock inside the store. Never understood that.everyone has always been nice except for one time I had one incident with a self checkout cashier while I was checking out $150 of items.( I only use self checkout ) and I heard the manager call the cashier over and she said (whispered)” I can’t cause I have to Watch HER!” ( I was the only person there) so I looked up quickly and they were both looking at me and turned away. So I let her know that I heard that and don’t appreciate it! I do NOT STEAL! And I go into that Kroger for the last 2 1/2 yrs I’ve lived in GC, 2 to 3 times a week and spend OVER $70 each time about $300 to $400 a week which is a lot of money ( to my family) so I think I deserve a little respect as a loyal customer and not accused of something. BTW I have PTSD,Anxiety, Social Anxiety so besides work and grocery store I DONT leave the house! That gave me a sour taste about this location so I have been doing mostly curbside pickup since then.

Have been going to this Kroger for a few years now, generally everything is ok but today I got 2 lbs of chicken wings which ended up being 10 wings for $10. The wings were cut so choppy that there is additional skin/meat not even attached to the wing. I used to get Kroger wings at the counter because they were a good deal as opposed to eating out, but at this point I might at well pick some up at a restaurant…Also gave me no flats though there were plenty in the case.

The quality of Kroger meat is terribe anymore. The hamburger meat tastes gamey . A lot of Kroger products have gone down hill.

Produce department is absolutely horrible. I've let customer service know many times that there were issues with the fruit and veggies being rotten. Made a mistake 2 days ago and spent $8.99 on a cut mixed fruit bowl and the mango was so underripe, it was crunchy and disgusting. I usually don't buy produce there but I ive very close, and I wanted fruit. A waste of money is all I got. I've been shopping here for 2 years and they have consistently been selling bad produce.
Update: They still don't have good produce

Went in for bananas. Didn't get any based on how rancid the produce section smelled. Seems to be a repeat theme

I know a few people complain about this location but, I don't have a problem with it. I find the items I need and can quickly check out. My only problem with all Kroger's are the design of their parking lots.....horrible!

I’m traveling to my hometown in Ohio and I stopped at this Kroger to purchase some necessities and food and I put in my Kroger card that I always use and it did not work. I asked the cashier if she could help me and she said there’s absolutely nothing she can do.. Every item was being charged 2 to 3 dollars then the listed price on the tag. This is how you treat customers who keep coming back? I had to leave all of the items.

It was great until they rearranged everything.

Slow, not very clean, understaffed, too few cashiers and baggers, tight isles, barely any parking. Kroger on 5965 Hoover Road is better

Unless you drive a Kia Soul (why would you?) parking at this center can be challenging but that's not Kroger's fault except they chose this location. What's worse is the store is generally busy at all times and seems to have an over abundance of online order fillers who have absolutely ZERO respect for in-store shoppers. I have been blocked out of entire aisles due to these folks.
While the staff are mostly pleasant at this location, I usually go to the other GC location (Hoover?) for the better selection and less hassle even though this location is only a mile from my house.
Since online orders seem to be a priority at this store and the parking is awful, why not close it down to the public and make it a fulfillment center?

Stop rearranging the store every 6-12 months.

Worst kroger I've ever been to. There are never any baggers and the day time manager doesn't care he's too busy wearing the same Hawaiian shirt ,talking like a stoner,I complain about having to bag my own groceries every time I go there and his only response is sorry dude. What a joke.

Kroger Stringtown Rd Pharmacy does not pick up the phone. It took me hours to call and request a prescription. When I finally got a hold of someone the girl was rude and unprofessional.
