Sometimes you walk in to a Bank or a business and employees just kinda go through "The Motions" to please customers. It's not hard to see the frown under the smile if it's not real! I gotta tell ya, if these people ever had a bad day, I've never seen it!!! What an awesome team and work environment! Always helpful, and polite. No matter how dumb my request, I always feel like they go out of their way to help me with a solution! Great Job Heartland! I hope all of your locations are as great as this one!

Melissa helped me today and she was very courteous and professional. She really knew her stuff and went above and beyond for me. What a blessing.

Lack of ATM’s so you’re charged for cash withdrawals. Always something wrong with website. Other banks just offer so many more options to take care of the customers. This bank does not.

The Grove City team is always fantastic and personal. Every time I come to the branch, I’m always greeted with a smile and my name. Every member of the team is extremely knowledgeable. Mellissa, Eric, Ron, Ellen and Izzy are AMAZING!!

To start, I would like to say that this was a good bank at one point in time, and I feel it's fair to give them credit for that, since I (like many) did not take the time to review it while the experience was a positive one. Now, let's talk about the present instead of the past. This bank has been going downhill at rapid pace over the past few years. When I say "this bank" I'm meaning the bank as a company, although the customer service has gone down as well. I have finally reached my last straw after looking at my account to find that they have taken $30 out of it for "service fees". To my knowledge There should not have been any- I make it a strong point to not have any accounts that charge them. That's not to say maybe a clause isn't buried somewhere, or more likely that they have taken it upon themselves to add it since I opened the account many years ago. But in any event, them reaching their hands in and taking my money is absolutely not acceptable, and has broken and trust and respect that I had left for them. Now as I said, that was the final straw that pushed me off the fence to make me actually start the process of closing and moving our families three savings accounts, checking account, and business account. That's not an easy task, and the reason why I delt with them through this point. But to give some insight into the other issues: during the PPP period, they were not only completely unhelpful but flat out rude. After two weeks of messing around with them and waiting for callbacks that never happened, I finally went to another bank for it. Another major issue was just a few months ago I needed to setup guardianship accounts for my kids. They again were extremely unhelpful, and apparently there is only 1 person in the entire company that can even set them up. Want to guess what that was like? Yeah, it was even worse. We, again, had to go to another bank and had the accounts opened for nearly a week before the heartland rep ever even called back. And then there is the day to day type issues that are just a frustrating headache, but I think you get the point. In short, I know I have written a lot so I'll conclude it with a TL;DR summary: bank used to be good, now it's like they're in a race to the bottom of the barrel with Chase. Don't let them take your money like they did mine, bank somewhere else.

I understand it's a policy, but as a federally insured financial institution, I don't understand the unwillingness to help someone make change if they are not an account holder but are willing to let you examine the bill before making change to feel confident it is not counterfeit. Even offered my license so if something should happen they would know how to locate me. Either way, not a way to attract new customers. Instead I went across the street to KeyBank and they were more than happy to help.

Heartland bank’s service providers have gone over and above to provide me and Way2Go Fitness excellent service. Natalie Belt, Josh McKee and Amy Gunn, along with the staff at the Grove City branch have all given us better than expected service. I have never experienced this level of customer service in a long time. I consider them the Chick-Fil-A of the banking world.

As a professional who tries to give great customer service I like to acknowledge others when they go above and beyond and that is exactly what Ellen did for me at the Heartland Bank Grove City location. She gave top notch customer service with a smile on her face. Thank you Ellen and keep up the good work!

Waited for around 5 minutes there’s no customers inside. the lady was on the phone no one offer to help. That’s very rude and unprofessional behavior to leave customers waiting without helping them or talk to them. I will never come back to this location ever!Reply to your answer down:“The attitude towards your business is the key to success”What you saying down is true but you forgot to mention about the third of members. The Third of the Team as soon as I entered the service area walked away. Should have offered the help before walked away. It’s all Good. I just hope have treat your customers better.

Great people and quick, honest service every time I've asked. Exactly what your bank should be. They do right by you, whether or not it's money making for them. They want you as a customer for the long haul.
