Mrs. Deb is the reason why we have our very first new built home. She will help you from the start till the very end. She’s the nicest person I’ve ever met, I didn’t just got a home in the end of this but I got a new family member ? Everything good about Maronda homes start with Deborah White & Joseph Karnes! They are both such a joy to work with! Amazing!!!❤️

If I could I give a negative score, I would. We were told our deposit would be returned to us if we weren’t approved for a loan, used an FHA loan, or canceled before permits obtained or ground broke. NONE of these things happened, we never got a loan approval, no ground broke, no permits obtained. We pulled our offer after some miscommunication about pricing. And have been trying to get our deposit back ever since, the company claims it’s not refundable, despite what our Maronda homes agent told us. We signed a contract, that we were then told only counted with our conditional loan approval, which we NEVER got. And they are seemingly now pocketing our 15k, even though their representation was deceitful. After our representative stopped answering our emails, his boss called us. Who was even more rude than he was. Horrible company, no wonder there are so many horrible reviews. Need revamped and new employees who are honest.

Buying my first home has been a breeze with the support and guidance of Deborah White! If you are looking to build, use Maronda Hones and most importantly connect with Deb. She will take care of you like family and is always professional, on time, and a joy to work with!

My husband and I had the pleasure to work with Katy. She is amazing. Great communicator, very responsive, and knowledgeable. As a black family, we didn’t feel different. She gave us as much as information that we needed to make the right choice. Never pressuring us to buy or add any upgrades but guided us through the processes. If you, first time buyers, are hesitant, feel stressed, and unsure, don’t hesitate to ask for Katy.

We purchased our home in Autumn Grove 10+ years ago. Following the mortgage crisis, we were looking for a better community and schools for our son. Maronda not only built a quality home but we found a community for our son to gown up in that was safe, plenty of kids and provided SouthWestern City Schools. Our new home in 2013 had plenty of space (2400 sq ft) with a finished basement and a big yard. Our son is now 16 and will be graduating from Central Crossing in a few years. We love the home and our neighbors. Very quiet at night, good access to freeways and a great home town feel with Downtown Grove City about 3 mins away. Definitely happy with Autumn Grove and Maronda Homes.

Was 5 stars when we signed the contract over a year ago and we’re told the house would be done by February! Now we are still waiting for our home to be finished while there is a builder right done the street getting houses built in 6-7 months! Very disappointing!!

The neighborhood is very nice and is in a nice location. When I drove through, there were children playing together and nice sidewalks to walk on. There is a small pond in the neighborhood that you can walk to. If you follow Demorest Rd. to Grove City Rd. you will find a nice little playground on the left and a path for walking or running.

While they are building the house, they will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy with your new build. The moment you sign on the dotted line, they disappear. I have lived here for over a year and I am still waiting for repairs that were supposed to be completed at the time of close. Dave Harvey is the one in charge of the building project and he only shows up to ensure the work is being done...not that it is being done correctly. The water pressure is very low. I called the city and they said my psi was around 30-33 coming into the house. Most of my neighbors have complained to Maronda about the low pressure. Maronda’s response was to start putting boosters in the new houses and tell everyone else their water pressure is at acceptable levels.Every time I try to reach out to Maronda, they take weeks to get back. I have put in for warranty work and no one gets back with me until Dan, the person in charge of the warranty work, emails me a month later asking if it has been resolved. When I inform him no one has contacted me, he sends an email to the person who does the actual work and we repeat this process all over again. For a company who sells the “family business” as part of their culture, I bet everyone would be ashamed to present these houses to owners of the company. Their culture is to sell beautifully designed houses, built with the cheapest material and cheapest labor possible. When the complaints come in, either ignore them until they go away, deny them as expected owner upkeep, and repair them only as a last resort. The only person who did a great job was Brent, the sales person. He is fantastic.**************Update:This is the email I sent in response to the reply of this review:Long and the short is this, I have tried working with Dan in the warranty department concerning the issues starting from the poor landscaping job that was done to things not fixed from the punch out. I have had my realtor try to reach out to someone in Maronda to help...and she never had a response. Will this be any different or will someone be able to help? And this was the response I received:I am sorry you have read bad reviews online. We are a large production builder so unfortunately more people post negative feedback and not positive. Unfortunately, in today's blogging, tweeting, yelping, facebook existence - it is almost impossible for national builders to go completely unscathed. If you research any national builder unfortunately, you will see much of the same.I have to say, Maronda Homes - standards such as, concrete block, stem wall construction and radiant barrier are exceptional inclusions in our homes. Maronda goes above and beyond and I would venture to say for every unpleasant comment made - there are numerous homeowners to sing our praises!I do hope you will allow us the opportunity to show you all that Maronda Homes has to offer before making the final call.Thank you! This is what you should expect with Maronda, they do not pay attention to anything you say after the closing.
