This is a BEAUTIFUL gift shop, home decor, and boutique all in one! My mother lives in Florida and this is the first place she wants to stop! (Or I have been know to FaceTime shop with her and I ship her purchases!). The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful! The displays throughout the store are amazing!

DO NOT BUY GIFTS FROM HERE!!I received a coat for Christmas, but due to family illnesses we didn’t exchange gifts until New Year Day.Apparently Cedar & Thread stops accepting “Christmas Returns” the week after Christmas.By the time I was given the coat, it was too late to return it….which again, was only SEVEN DAYS after Christmas.They do not give you a gift receipt explaining their return policy so you have no chance of knowing there is such a small return window. I don’t not live locally, I have no way of knowing this information and they did not relay this to my gift giver.With such a ridiculous return policy I don’t know why anyone would want to give a gift from this store. Please shop elsewhere.

I love this gift store. My second time shopping here. The store has three floors of gifts and decor, clothing, misc. and family owned as well. Has a little bit of everything. I bought some bird feed shaped as an owl for gift for my dad. It was a great way to spend an hour of our time while in Granville.

Though I didn't make a purchase, browsing was lovely! From the flowers out front and the barn styled front of building to the 3 floors of merchandise, this was a fun stop in Granville. Nearer the highway and lake than Granville's main downtown, definitely worth a shopping experience for home decor, silken flower bouquets, puzzles, children's books, women's clothing and shoes, jewelry, Beekman's lotions, various vendors operate out of this shop. The shop came recommended by a local restaurant staff member- meaning that the shops has local patronage as well as folks like me passing through!

Cedar and Thread is my go-to treat when I visit my daughter at college. I'm always delighted by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the fantastic quality of their clothes, home goods, lotions and candles! Not to mention their shoes: unique, high-quality and always on-trend. The owner and staff are exemplary in customer service, professionalism and hospitality. My husband loves their clothes too! This wonderful, local shop is highly recommended!
