We cannot express enough how amazing our experience was making our wedding rings! The workshop was so unique, personal, and fun! Anne and Jen are truly genuine and sincere human beings who are not only passionate about their craft, but also committed to making your experience exceptional. We cannot even begin to put into words what a special, unique, and amazing experience this was. We are not having a traditional wedding, but this was a way that we could really make our upcoming wedding day special. Anne and Jen are incredible, kind, passionate people who guided us on our workshop day. They helped us make exactly what we both wanted and we couldn’t be happier with our rings! They also made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. We shared a lot of laughs and learned so much from them. This is a day we will remember for the rest of our lives! We had the most amazing day designing and crafting our own wedding bands at The Smithery. Jen and Anne are true masters of their craft! They led us through the entire process and made sure our bands turned out exactly how we imagined. Their studio is comfortable, welcoming, and beautiful. We participated in a wedding ring workshop and it was an absolute delight that left us both with unique rings that will carry happy memories forever. Jen was so knowledgeable and made every step of the process approachable. It’s hard to believe we went from strips of metal to these absolute beauties over the course of a few hours and that WE were the ones making that happen (with great guidance from Jen and safe high-temperature soldering from Anne!) is an incredible treat and honor.

We absolutely LOVED working with Jen and Anne to create our wedding bands this past weekend! There is something so special about starting with a simple piece of metal and working together to make the symbols of your lifelong commitment to each other.A relationship is a promise to be a team, to work together, and to support each other, and the wedding band workshop offered at The Smithery is the perfect "ceremony" to encapsulate that.I know we're both looking forward to wearing these on our wedding day, telling people "we actually made these ourselves!!", and being able to look down at them every day afterwards with a sense of pride and love.We drove 6 hours to do this workshop, but I would've easily driven double that. Jen and Anne made the workshop so fun — we spent the day laughing together, eating yummy food, exchanging stories, and getting encouragement from them as we learned these new jewelry-making techniques. We never felt rushed or silly for making any mistakes or not nailing something the first try. It was such a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere.I really can't recommend this experience enough to anyone looking for unique wedding bands or to those who want a really beautiful memory with their partner. Unique wedding band creation experience to make the start of your life together with a personalized twist. We made our wedding bands today. The experience was absolutely amazing. We each make the other person's ring. They worked with each of us to help make the rings. The experience was easy for anyone without any experience needed. We were the only ones in the studio so it was extremely personalized.

My fiancé Mickey and I made our rings with Anne and Jen and had the absolute best time! Since I looked up this workshop I had never heard of a place where we could've made our own wedding rings, which is what I have always wanted. Jen was patient and an incredible instructor, and our rings turned out great! I am so happy with them. We were even able to bring our dog, Chloe, which made the whole day that much better!I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to create an amazing memory that they'll never forget. We just got back from the wedding band workshop and wow! 100/10. Jen and Anne are incredible artists, and just as importantly, amazing teachers. My husband and I both appreciated their enthusiasm in their work and desire to teach. The quality of our rings is far better than any rings we looked at in a typical jewelry store. They were also super accommodating and I felt as though they were genuinely interested and invested in us creating super high quality rings. I cannot stress how perfect this experience is.Keep in mind if you do choose to participate in their ring making workshop that you will likely be spent afterwards. For many, this is like learning a new skill. We were exhausted mentally from learning all the new skills and a little bit physically from all the new and sometimes awkward hand-holding positions. This class is designed for everyone, so don't shy away, but just ensure you give yourself some grace as you learn because I promise that you will leave with your expectations exceeded and proud of what you make (and take home). I seriously could go on. This is an absolute must for all couples who enjoy the art of making!
