My 2.5 year old son has learned so much in such a short time at the Goddard School. He used to cry every day when he was going to a different daycare and now he walks right in and is thriving and happy thanks to the amazing teachers and staff.

Teachers seem to really care about the kids and do a good job. They have fun activities for the kids often. They send pictures often throughout the day which is so nice! Do have to provide own lunch.

My family and I moved to Columbus, Ohio from WV back in February 2023. My two children have gone to The Goddard at Grandview School since the beginning of March 2023. I have had no complaints and both of my children absolutely love attending the school. I would 1000x recommend this location. Janie and her staff go above and beyond for the children and their families at this school! I cannot say enough good things about this location.

I have had the pleasure of working at The Goddard of Grandview since March. From day one Janie and her staff have treated my family and I with overwhelming kindness and have welcomed us with open arms. I have had a phenomenal experience and can not recommend this location enough! I am thankful for the ongoing opportunity I have working with such wonderful individuals. All of the staff take such pride in every child who walks through the doors. I am beyond grateful to have a boss like Janie along with the office administrators, Mel and Jody!

This school is wonderful. I have three children 9 mo., 2yr, and 4yr. Each classroom really helps them grow and develop. They not only help them learn but also provides them exercise both outside on the playground and inside in the gym where they have a rock wall. The teachers and staff are amazing. The curriculum is interactive and helps them learn.

Both of my granddaughters attend this school at the Grandview location and have been for 4 months now. They both have learned so much within the short period they have been attending. I love all the pictures they send my daughter of my granddaughters throughout the day! They are always doing such creative activities with the kids and I couldn't ask for a better school for my grandchildren. Keep up the good work.

My two nieces attend this location. My nieces love attending the school and have learned so much. This school goes above and beyond for their students and I am grateful that my sister found Janie and her school for them to attend.

I strongly discourage anyone from sending their children to the Goddard School at Grandview. Our daughter attended Goddard Grandview for 10 months in 2021-2022, and while we loved some of the teachers, there were several issues that made us feel it is an unsafe and a discriminatory place. Foremost, the school does not notify parents of communicable diseases in their children's classroom (Goddard says they will in their handbook, but they do not). In mid-July 2022, our daughter simultaneously caught *six* illnesses while at Goddard (including COVID and salmonella), leading to her hospitalization because she was so sick. I reported these illnesses to Goddard, but the salmonella was never reported to parents in her classroom, even though salmonella can be passed to other kids. Additionally, in the 10 months we were there, only 1 COVID case was reported -- ours. Given how widespread COVID was in 2021-2022, it is literally impossible that our daughter is the only person who caught COVID there.Secondly, I feel that the school and owner in particular are discriminatory. In December 2021, when an employee came out as trans, the owner announced that she would fire teachers/staff who used new pronouns for the employee. These details are in the federal lawsuit against the school (the case is Diaz et al. vs the Academy at Grandview LLC) and are publicly available. The teachers/staff who were fired (and others who quit in solidarity) were outstanding, and the exodus of teachers led to a dramatic turnover where it felt like we had a different teacher (who didn't know our daughter or us) every other week for many months. Several times at pickup, the teachers didn't know which child was mine, and once they even handed me the wrong child to take home!!I do not want my daughter to be raised in this environment of disregard and bigotry. I feel like Goddard was a serious risk to my daughter's health and well-being. Given all these factors, we left as soon as possible.

My daughter attended this Goddard from about 5 months to 2.5 years old and left in March. She loved the school, the kids, most of the teachers she had, and the owner. They always had little events going on, I appreciated the updates we got (especially during the height of COVID), and we were so sad to have to leave (we moved out of state). I would not say they were perfect in everything, but my daughter was happy and thrived well and that's what was most important for me. I would definitely recommend Goddard Grandview.

I would give zero star if I could. Operates for the money and does not care about the kids at all. The owner is extremely rude and does not like kids. I echo in general with the negative points mentioned in other reviews and want to add that the school is under-staffed relative to its own advertisement. The owner has issues hiring and retaining employees as the school is facing federal lawsuit, which is featured in local news in detail vividly. Just google.I initially wanted to give Goddard a try because it has a short waitlist even after seeing all the one star reviews, but then I learnt why there are so many 1 star reviews. Just like swimming in an ocean, the experience depends on whether you got bitten by a shark or not. And there are sharks - you have to see to believe and then you realize they do not care.

They put our kid to a class that is for older kids because they did not have room in the other one. After a week, we wanted to take our kid from this school due to problems with him being in the wrong class and how teacher was not doing anything to help. The management accepted their mistake and agreed to refund our money (several times)-but they did not. When I complained to the main corporate office, she finally sent the money back, but $300 less than the actual amount. This is a horrible place full of unprofessionals.

Terrible experience! All they care about is your money. They hire teachers who has very limited (on the paper) pedagogical training and have them write positive reviews here. The management does not care whether your child is happy or not. Staff are very rude. Avoid at all cost.

Both our daughters have attended the Goddard School and we've loved our experience over the past 3+ years. It feels like a true family. They have helped our daughters grow, learn, and become more confident. We tried several other preschools before finding this school and will forever be grateful that it opened. An added bonus? We can't take credit for potty-training our first...The Goddard School did that for us, and we were oh so grateful (and surprised)! We deeply miss some former staff members, but absolutely love the location, school-readiness program, cleanliness, teachers, and families that call this school home for their little ones.
