Being able to visit such a historic site is amazing. A quiet little village that has been around since before the Revolutionary War holds so much history and some awesome small town vibes. This place is like everyone's idea of mainstreet USA.

About Gnadenhutten Park & Museum
Historical Park and Museum sharing the story and artifacts of the late 1700's when Moravian Missionaries were invited by the Indians to set up a mission town after converting Delaware and Lenape Indians to Christianity, and the later massacre of many of these Christian Indians while on return from being held captive to harvest left behind crops. The town was re-established several years later and the Historical Park continues to share the history of the town after this tragic event. Please know that as you visit the museum, we are currently doing some interior renovation work and not all collections may be visible. Please ask if there is something specific you were hoping to see while visiting!
