They're taking on more than they can handle. Car was in the shop for a month. The first week they told us they hadn't even started on it yet (then why have us drop it off?) and three weeks later, still no car. Whoever answered the phone told us we could take it for the weekend and drop it back off, we don't need it for the weekend, need it to drive to WORK. Told us they "fell behind" again. Then told us to just come and pick it up then and pay for the work they did. They won't say no to people even though they're drowning in work to the point a car will be in there for a month. They don't keep up communication either, never would tell us anything until we called. Just an awful experience.

Awesome transaction. Purchased an automobile from gages garage recently. Bill and his staff are true professionals. I had a 7 hour drive to pick up vehicle, they worked with me on the time schedule. They even loaded the car on the trailer for me. Couldn't be happier. Great people and business.

Almost a year ago my accord developed a power steering leak on the positive pressure side. After looking up what it would take to get to the line to replace it, I decided it was too much for me and instead took it to Gages Garage in Girard. While they had everything taken apart, they also recommended I replaced the other lines while they were in there because I planned on having the car for a while and it would save on labor. Dude seemed trustworthy and honest, and they had good reviews, so I went for it.A few days ago it started leaking again and I dropped it off for him to take a look at this morning. From my understanding, it was a defective part in one of the lines. Dude was absolutely swamped but got it swapped out for me, didn't even charge me labor, and made sure it was ready for me to pick up tonight before they closed.I absolutely cannot reccomend this shop enough.
