I went to a benefit outing here, it was great. Only thing about the course was the signing, couldn't tell where I was heading next. Steak was very good and the pulled pork sandwiches were amazing.

I played here before and wanted to play again this year with my buddy. The course is nothing to write home about but with some cart path And green improvements the course could be really nice. The reason I’m leaving a one star is because of the starters and their lack of customer care. We had a late teatime at 6 PM and was told to leave on the ninth hole at 7:50 PM. I was very cut off guard by the starter as it doesn’t get dark until 9 PM due to being in the summer. Very upset with the personnel staff and not a course who is friendly to the bogey golfer however their course condition is geared towards the bogey golfer or new golfers in general. For the price there is a lot better options in Youngstown area and I would recommend avoiding this one.

The course ranger kicked me off at 7:50 pm when I was on the last hole when sunset was after 9 and was extremely rude about it. I will never play here again

We had our wedding at the Country Club. The staff was easy to work with and helped make the day a delight.

Mahoning Country Club is a nice smaller course that has some challenging holes. Because of the yardage, plan on playing from the back tees. It's in decent shape and the staff and owners are excellent people. It gets a lot of play for a course of this nature and seems to still be recovering from Covid. I discovered it through the Southern Loop Card and am glad I played it twice. It's not a particularly easy course, however. Because the fairways are so close to each other and tee boxes aren't that far from the greens, the course forces you to keep your ball straight and on the fairway you are playing. Any course that forces you to hit your shots true and straight is, to me, a decent course. And, you can't beat the greens fees. All in all, I'd play this course again.

Decent 18 hole. Course with a bar. Only played golf this time, did not get to eat, will try next time. The course was in decent shape, considering all the rain we have had lately.

To give this place less than 5 stars when they are closing their doors forever would be wrong. Has been good to our organization for years. May not have been the fanciest but it was good. Happy retirement.
