Absolutely horrible experience. We had an open casket and my beautiful mother looked NOTHING like herself. She hated red nails, yet she wears them in death. Her makeup was so unnatural. Losing her was absolutely devastating to me, and seeing her like that was even harder.
Truly horrible.
